I was in this store only because my sister called me and asked me to come look at a pair of jeans she wanted to buy. The store had one customer on the floor, the manager at the register and an employee who interrupted me to tell me how its frowned upon to have men inside the fitting room. The only person in the fitting room was my sister and niece. So I left the store, I walked back in while she was paying and noticed a sign expressing how inclusive talbots is. The manager saw me laugh and said oh my employee explained to you incorrectly its not because your a man its because you arent allowed in the fitting room unless you are trying on clothes and that she corrected her on what the policy is. My sister commented my niece was not trying on clothes. To which the reeducated employee chimed in shes not a man! Wow… i really wanted to grab some clothes and do a fashion show in that moment. TALBOTS NOT INCLUSIVE ONLY CULTIVATING A CULTURE OF IGNORANCE

Didn't know that Talbots Outlet merch is COMPLETELY different and separate from the "retail" stores. Uh, that's ignorant.In addition, the outlet employees have no knowledge as to what merch retail stores carry where.

Nice outlet mall that's clean and tidy. Thought went into the function of the restrooms. There's a cubby in the stalls so you don't have to hold your bags or set them on the floor. There's a built in step stool for little people to use.
