We bought a 2017 curris truck camper new. 30 000 miles. 2- 162 day trips every state but the northeast . Several short month long trips. Everything still works. Our goal was to see the country. Never drove more than 200 miles in a day. GPS set on avoid highways. Truck camper is the way to go. The 920 is so well designed, both function and beauty. It's very comfortable and cozy to be in. We visited the manufacturing facility on one of our trips. We had a water problem. What a pressure problem, they fixed it. They charge there's nothing they gave us a plant tour and one of the lines was shut down because of a wedding. Clearly they care about their people and their people care about the product.

Travelled with our 2021 T@B 320S from Ontario for Max Fan install, bearing pack/brake check and Alde glycol flush and fill. Took in a tour of the facility. Great service. Great tour. All done in less than 5 hours. Thank you NuCamp!

Bought a 720 brand new. It had so much wrong with it that it had to go back to the factory. They had it 6 months. They shipped it to Colorado and we drove down from Wyoming to pick it back up. It was ruined because they transported it from Ohio to Colorado with the top windows open! They blew off and a ton of rain and snow came in ruining the interior and shorting out the electrical system. We left empty handed. Four days later they offered us a used 850. We accept that but then that unit needed tons of repairs also. We waited 5 months for that unit to get fixed and then sold it. NuCamp never did reimburse us for all the mileage we put on our truck hauling their junk around for repairs. They still owe us money but I’ve decided it’s too much of a headache so I just steer everyone clear of this company. All the positive reviews of these rv’s gotta be fake.

The good: the quality of nüCamp products is impeccable. We had one of the few Avias that were produced and absolutely loved the build quality, features, aesthetics, layout, innovation, use of space, technology and comforts. So why the two star review? The bad: customer service. When I bought the Avia, I wrote to nüCamp to ensure that they were going to continue producing them and that I wasn’t buying a one-and-done product that would have limited support. The response was an unequivocal “yes”, though they did add the caveat of having to deal with COVID-induced parts shortages.Fast forward one year. While traveling with the trailer, we end up with a blowout that sent chunks of rubber through the undercarriage of the trailer, tearing things to shreds. These things happen. We were fortunate to be able to patch things up well enough to get to our destination, enjoy a vacation and then head back home. Now the nightmare begins. Reaching out to nüCamp I get a short, curt: “find a local dealer.”Looking around Virginia there are only two or three. Each dealership took between 2 and 3 weeks to reply with: “we never sold those, we can’t help you.”Then reach out again to nüCamp. The lady says, “oh yeah — I forgot we made those. I don’t know if we can get parts for that any more. Let me ask around and I’ll call you back.”She never called back.I found a local business that does RV repairs. I figured these guys are used to dealing with all different manufacturers and vendors — surely they will have better success with getting a response from these guys. I was wrong. In fact, the gentleman that ran this local business said that getting answers or information from nüCamp was essentially impossible. They ignored calls, didn’t respond to emails and — when they were capable of getting through — they were promised a call back with answers and never got them.My camper was in the shop with them for six months before we gave up. We reached out to some local shops to have the missing parts manufactured based on best guesses from other parts on the trailer. They did remarkably great work and between the myriad different local companies we got the Avia’s undercarriage put back together. Then I traded it. The quality of the new trailer isn’t the same, but I can guarantee you that the manufacturer won’t brush you off for a year when you need help.In hindsight, the writing was really on the wall. Shortly after getting the trailer I inquired about their big get together camping event that they have for nüCamp product owners. I was literally told, “you are not welcome here. This event is for T@b and Cirrus owners only.”In their Facebook forums the community was quick to point out that those of us who had purchased an Avia didn’t really fit the culture or very distinct and specific demographic that owned
[email protected] was a Facebook group for Avia owners where some good information was exchanged. I don’t think I ever saw an actual nüCamp representative engage in any of the threads in that group during my stay there. So that’s why I give them 2 stars. Great quality product and I’m sure if you buy a T@b or T@g or Cirrus they’ll acknowledge you exist. Heaven forbid you purchase one of their one-and-done products (Avia, Barefoot?).

My T@B has had multiple problems but mainly with the water pump. While talking on the trouble shooting person the pump broke. They were completely unhelpful and refused to send us a new one that we would pay for. I had always heard great things about this company and this camper but something has changed and it's a shame.I would avoid buying any camper from this company. the product is cheaply made and the service is poor. I thought an American company would have a little more pride.

I have had many issues with the my 2021 T@B and including cabinet doors that will not stay closed, they typically all open up while traveling even on smooth highway roads. The bathroom sink that constantly falls down and does not drain. The front window seal is broken gets inches of water in between. Then of course all the plastic bits within the trailer have fallen off. The biggest issue was the plastic around the door frame from day one. I had to glue it in place with chalk. The door handle on the bathroom will not stay on unless we remove the cuff. The bathroom do0r shakes and makes tons of noise at night, use bumpers to help quiet that. And the window shades have unstrung and are useless. NuCamp after 1 year of stated that nothing that is wrong in our camper is covered under warranty. And when we asked to purchase replacement stairs they would not let us. We had to take it to a dealership. The dealership we bought it from was 7+ hours away from our home. The warranty is a joke and the customer service was non existent. I was really disappointed because I bought this camper because everyone has high praise for them and their warranty. Don't believe the hype. If you do not live near the factory the warranty is useless. in my experience trying to get help was best described as talking to a brick wall. The items that work well are the air conditioning, solar, fridge, and hot water. I would have given 3 stars as I think it is average for a camper to have many flaws but because the warranty basically was non existent, I gave 2. It is a super expensive camper for its size but very easy to haul and set up.

NuCamp produces an excellent product, especially when compared side-by-side with several other RV manufacturers. This review isn't about the product, but about the after-purchase support we received when our Tab320 experienced a major failure with the Alde heating system.NuCamp, specifically John Sanate, worked closely with our dealer to facilitate several warranty repairs, even offering to ship us the parts directly because our dealer was more than two hours away. When various issues persisted after several repair attempts by the dealer, NuCamp worked with the dealer to allow us to exchange our trailer. We ended up upgrading to the Tab400, and are thrilled with our new trailer and the overall outcome.
