I'm a disabled veteran and had been recently mugged and beaten. I went to these Veterans just for information, or maybe the use of a phone.They would not even give me the courtesy of an open door. I wanted to bleed out at their door, but I couldn't. They threatened to call the police on me for trespass.I walked another 1.5 to 2 miles to a nearby Clinic (to which they had graciously "pointed the way.")Upon arrival at the desk, I just looked at the lady seated there, mumbled something, and passed out, taken by ambulance to a civilian hospital, admitted and was later released by the Cleveland VA hospital 5 months later!I had been a member of the VFW in Florida and Alabama for over 14 years. I didn't have my membership card though, i was beaten so badly I forgot to ask for it back from the guy who had tried to kill me for it.Great bunch of Veterans I'm sure, but not the 10 or so ones that I met that day.

Absolutely the worst experience that i've ever had at a VFW. Post. I'm a lifetime member of the VFW And i go above and beyond to support the Veterans and the posts and i was refused entry to thier post. What a shamem i guess thier post is too good for thier supporters.

Sad to see the VFW Post in Strongsville, OH turn into a political platform hosting events for the Republican party. When did we get away from advocating for Vets to becoming pawns for the GOP?

Stopped in for the fish fry. Awesome food and super friendly people. Well organized to get the crowds in and out!
