I have been a customer of ticknors for years ,I have purchased many leather and shearing jackets from them.I went into strongsville store about a ten days before before Christmas looking for leather jacket I tried on a blue leather that I liked but was a little tight,so bob said he could order me one from warehouse.Bob said it would be in befor Christmas,on went in on 20 th Dec ,not in yet,again went in on 23 rd not there I checked on 24th not there,which was fine with me.mMy wife called them on Jan 24th to see if they had it she talked to Brian,who said it was there,which it had come in no one notified me it was there,she told them that she would be up to get it,she mentioned it was a 100.00 off was 395.00 now it was on sale for 295.00 Brian informed her she would not get that price because it was brought in from warehouse.brian was loud and rude talking over her,so she told them to keep it.I called another ticknors and talked to them and told them the situation,and he said it was not the policy.Brian called back from strongsville store and said that the sale price would be givin as a favor,I could hear talking to my wife she told them she would not buy anything from them again he loud and disrespectful,I took phone ,and told Brian to calmdown,this is no reason to get angry and loud,and informed them that I called another store and told them what was said by Brian and was informed they never heard that policy before,Brian then continued to get loud and I told him I did not want jacket and would not return to ticknors ever.I then hung up.Chris was my salesman and was always great to deal with,Brian seemed to be the thorn.

I had a great experience with the salesmen here. Jayson helped me find what I wanted to order for my wedding suit in the Ticknors catalog, then I tried on a couple different pants and jackets with Brian's help to get my correct size. They estimated a 10-14 day waiting time after I placed the order, but a week or two later they reached out and said my jacket was back-ordered, but it should still come in time for my wedding. I assume everything should fit well once it arrives based on the measurements and alteration notes they took during my initial visit. I appreciate everyone was open, kind and easy to talk to. Dominic is pretty cool too! I met him at the bridal show at the IX Center and he's the reason I visited in the first place!

I do not recommend using Ticknors for your wedding. We had numerous past customers recommend us to Ticknors after dressing their own wedding parties, and said they had a seamless experience. That unfortunately was not our case.We only needed (3) tuxes from them - groom, best man, and father of the groom. We purchased the grooms tux in-store early in February and received all the pieces with no issues. Our other two members placed their ordered by July and were assured delivery and full alterations, on-time, for our October 1 wedding.Two weeks before, we checked-in on the status and we received multiple different communication messages from both locations that the items were to be ready at. Our best man made NUMEROUS trips to his store location to get each piece of his tux (they were wrong styles, sizes and multiple issued with his outfit). He finally received all his pieces the week before the wedding but Ticnkors was unable to have everything altered in time. We had to pay for separate alterations elsewhere and were not happy, as Ticknors offered tailoring that would be done in-time before the wedding.We were waiting on bow-ties until two days before the wedding and I believe if I had not been diligent about following up with Ticknors two weeks before the wedding, items would have been missing and incorrect.For only having to dress three members for our wedding, this was the most stressful experience of planning our whole wedding and we recommend going to Mens Warehouse instead of Ticknors. We are sad to have to submit a review like this, but the experience was incredibly poor.

Been shopping here for years and I can't walk by without stopping in. Chris has always been my guy, but when I stopped recently to get a new suit for a wedding after some recent weight loss, he was off. Jason stepped in and not only helped fit the suit and a shirt, but got it back to me in an expedited time frame. If you like nice clothes and amazing service, you can't go wrong here!

Selection and service were excellent, exceeding my expectations greatly. Excellent product, great fit. Pricey but worth every penny. I almost wish I needed another suit so I could go back again.
