I’m a seasoned Thrifter-doing it long before it became trendy. Although the clothes were in very good shape 95% of what I saw was outdated styles. Circl 2015-19. Might be ok if you work in super conservative office but other than that? Hard pass. Also customer service was non existent. The 2 sales associates complained loud enough about a previous customer I could hear every detail while I was on the opposite end of the store! I had to interrupt them to get a fitting room to try on the only piece in the store that had possibility.

I decided to leave a positive review for the Strongsville Clothes Mentor rather than a negative review for the North Olmsted store. This is the best location! Not only do I almost always find something to purchase that is of quality and to my taste, but the customer service is really what sets it apart. I never have trouble getting into a fitting room. I never feel scolded by the workers or like I'm stealing when I'm clearly not. I have had challenging experiences at the other location in North Olmsted...to put it nicely.... But the ladies who work at the Strongsville location have ALWAYS been polite and courteous and don't complain. I live in Middleburg Heights so both stores are equidistant to me and I would choose to come to the Strongsville store 10/10 times. They have a range of clothing options no matter your age. I'm a young professional and can find things for work, lounging, a wedding, or night out. For the prices you pay at thrift stores nowadays, you may as well go to Clothes Mentor and actually get quality, washed clothing. It's hard to find a t-shirt that isn't see-through anymore and they provide plenty nice items. I would definitely recommend this location and I hope the ladies know what a wonderful job they are doing.

I don't go there anymore reason being is I have brought in many clothes practically new, they didn't want them and if so they gave me practically nothing for them, then they jack up the price 3x and sells them to customers. What a rip off

Management has made the decision to not offer customers any way to carry their purchased items without spending more money. The do not offer bags or boxes of any kind. Horrible customer service decision! Outside of this, it is a great place to get inexpensive clothing, but I do not support businesses that Virtue Signal at my inconvenience!*Reply to Response:Simple solution, offer paper bags! Or find inexpensive reusable bags to include with a purchase. That is customer service. Not having someone walk into your store who may not live in Cuyahoga County or be aware of any kind of bag ban, make a purchase, and then have to choose to either spend more money for reusable bags (that will not get reused, FYI) or manhandle a huge pile of loose clothing and shoes out the door... Your reasons are irrelevant, not offering bags is poor customer service!

Great selection of clothes. My issue is with the service or lack there of. Many of the workers seem like it is the end of the world to say hello. When I have questions I was given short and rude responses. Come on life is not that bad. If you don’t like your job then find a new one. Don’t bite the hands that feed you. I have thought about going to competitors as it’s not with being treated in this manner.

I love Clothes Mentor. Any time I need something new for my wardrobe this is where I shop. You can get designer brands at great prices.

I would give them 0 stars if possible I had pretty new clothes and designer bags that were new and they passed on them all and are actively advertising dirty coach bags on Facebook…make it make sense.Edit to your response: the purses I brought look similar to the stuff you had for sale in your store. So if my clothes and accessories are outdated, yours are too.

The store is outdated & for mature women only. They also lie about your clothes stating they were "well loved" when they haven't even ever been worn. No need to lie, just say you're a store for 45+ and keep it moving.

This place is horrible and the staff are rude. I took in 8 bags of clothing and when asked to pick up they said they couldn’t accept any of them as there are some junior and something wrong with each item. I have not worn junior clothes since I was twenty and I am now 50 and some had tag still on. Waste of time and was treated very rude.

This is the first time I have ever been here and I just came to learn it is an all women's store. I was a little embarrassed at first being a man however, It all worked out pretty good to say the least. Half of my belongings I brought in to sell where actually women's so that was a good thing, lol..... Last but not least, there customer service is "Superb". (5) stars and some and on that note, I THANK ALL OF YOU AT CLOTHES MENTOR!
