The family in charge treated me exceptionally well and helped me (1) check in early and (2) find an extra quiet room where I could get some sleep during the daytime. I really appreciated their efforts as I am an extremely light sleeper. All in all they made me feel welcome and well cared for. Thank you.

Don’t think about staying here! Building has a bad odor throughout and our bedding and sheets were disgusting. We chose not to stay, but they refused to refund our money even though we were literally in the room for a total of 15 minutes. The general manager said that he wanted to expedite a refund after my review to the company, but that hasn’t happened and they won’t even return my requests now. Very poor customer service. Definitely would never recommend anyone staying there.

The continental breakfast was horrible. Coffee burnt, orange juice was hot, waffle iron was not cleaned daily. While advertised as non smoking, marijuana apparently was okay. The smell was overwhelming and I had a COPD crisis.

Upon check in. The CSR was very kind and helpful to get me in a room a little early. Because of my rewards program loyalty he upgraded me for no charge. He was quick to take care of me.Nearby activities: Casino

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. When we got to the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke (non-smoking hotel). The cabinet that the fridge was in was rotted out and moldy, and we couldn’t open the fridge door at all. The room felt overall dirty. We went to the desk to let them know, and were offered room spray to make it smell better. We were super polite and nice throughout the entire process - the hotel was booked so we understood that their options were limited to help us out. Long story short, they gave us a refund and told us we needed to leave (which was very abrupt). We went back upstairs to get our stuff together, and about 3 mins later there was a knock at the door. A man was at the door in his pajamas asking to come in, we let him in and he wrestled the fridge door open (had to lift the fridge a few inches up, almost broke the door doing it, etc). We politely said that we had already received a refund and were getting ready to leave, and he proceeded to wait in the room with us. We said that we would be right out, and he held the door open and waited for us to leave (about 2 mins), and walked us downstairs. The whole experience was SO uncomfortable and awkward. I have zero idea why they were so rude to us, we were super understanding (we actually apologized and said that we understood that it’s not the fault of the woman at the front desk, etc.). This hotel is in desperate need of cleaning and at least our room could have used a renovation - at the very least a way to open the fridge and something to make the bathroom not smell like stale cigarette smoke. We booked this hotel based on the good reviews - I would never recommend this hotel.

Preface THIS PART IS NOT ABOUT QUALITY INN — We are traveling for the solar eclipse and booked our hotel with another local hotel MONTHS ago through Expedia. We arrived in town around 6pm only to be told by the hotel that they canceled our reservation. They say they called us 6 times at 4pm today to verify our reservation and that our card was declined when they tried to run it at 4pm. Neither of these things were true. We had been in the car for 10 hours, the phone had never rang. We get an email when one of our cards is declined, there was never even an attempt. They didn’t cancel our reservation through Expedia either so when we contacted them they said it was still valid.Every hotel in town and several towns over is booked because of the total eclipse. —-NOW Enter Quality Inn. Obviously, I was upset (tearful). There are 4 of us which includes our 2 kids. They had two rooms left one that was just a king bed and the other that was a smoking room (I didn’t know those still existed). When I told them what happened, the owners (or managers - not sure) went out of their way to get us a room. They put us in a room that hadn’t been booked bc the magnetic key reader wasn’t working. They walked us up to the room and let us in using their master key. Then both the people from the front desk returned with a maintenance person to work on the door.A few moments later there was a gentle knock on the door and the maintenance person returned with a towel. They had noticed we didn’t have enough towels for the 4 of us in the bathroom and without us even asking brought us another one.Maybe because the room had been closed up for a while and they borrowed it for another room (bc of the magnetic lock), there wasn’t a cable cord hooked up to the tv. When we asked about the tv, all 3 of the same people came right back up and moved the credenza and installed the cord and made sure the tv was working.I have done a lot of google reviews of hotels because we travel a good bit for the kids activities. I have never done a review and posted it this early into a hotel stay and I’ve also never trusted a family running a hotel this much. The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. The service is absolutely unmatched I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Please visit them, if you’re ever in the area.Rooms: Rooms are nice. Updated. Clean.Nearby activities: Parks, science center, rock and roll hall of fame not far away in Cleveland.Safety: Everything seems safe and well maintained.Walkability: This is in an area that has restaurants and shopping very close. Very walkable.Food & drinks: Free breakfast. And lots of restaurants nearby.Noteworthy details: Customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced.

This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve been at. The toilet wouldn’t work in our first room (second floor) and we were told they only had first floor rooms left. The man at the front desk said he didn’t have anyone on site to fix it and was completely unhelpful. We took the first floor room and it smelled like smoke, heat didn’t work, and had dried pee in the toilet. We went back to the front desk and demanded a full refund. We were told we’d have to “come back when the manager is in” to get a refund. Instead of refunding us, they charged our card THREE times. We have yet to be refunded for any of it. This whole place is a huge scam. Do not stay here.
