I was greeted at the entrance when I checked in by the staff, who genuinely seem excited that I was staying at their establishment. Checked in, went to my room, and decided to shower after a long day of travel. When I walked in to the bathroom, I am met with the smell of a cloth shower curtain that had not been changed or washed in weeks! Anyone who has ever had a cloth shower curtain that needed washed knows this smell. Hesitant from the smell of the shower curtain, I get in the shower. Though the plug for the tub was pulled up, water began to accumulate in the tub. By the time I was finished showering, the water was up to my ankles and I was standing in filthy water from the clogged tub. So, essentially I was standing in the floating filth of every tenant before me. The water finally ended up draining, 22 minutes later. After 21 years in the military I have learned to live with a lot, but I have showered in third world countries that were better than this experience.
Once I got toweled off, I decided to check the washable A/C filters. They were clogged as well and had not been cleaned in months. When I went down stairs for breakfast, I informed the receptionist of the issues, she took my room number, and that was it. She didn't say another word.
Food & drinks: There are restaurants within walking distance.

I called in to extend my stay but the clerk said that they were all booked up and there is someone that blocked my room specifically, later I found out after I had packed that this is not true, I had checked the night before and there was vacancy for the next day, I was going to stay another night.
The girl was impolite over the phone and quite rude, I did into account I called the front desk when a lot of people were checking out and she was under stress.
When I checked out I mentioned that you are all booked up now, and she replied No we are not, then I proceeded to tell her that I called down about 10am and you said that the hotel was fully booked, then she said that that had changed in the last few minutes, but I kept checking and there was vacancy even the night before.
The front desk operators need to realize that there are people like me that travel quite extensively and logistics is very important, and given the wrong information can make a travelers day good or bad when traveling and making travel arrangements.
She did say I can extend only after my bags were packed and I had made other arrangements.

We traveled to the Cuyahoga National Park, and stayed for one night in Staybridge Suites. I didn’t expect anything from that place, but it was sooo good. Much better than any other pricier place we stayed here in the USA. The rooms are just renovated and brand new with fresh furniture, walls, curtains. I liked bed linen so much, that in the morning I didn’t want to go out of my bed ?
I wish all the hotels in the US will make renovations like Staybridge and IHG did.
At least, I understand for what I’m paying my money getting that high level of the room.
Thank you, guys !!! Wish you all the best. And will definitely recommend to friend stay there!
Rooms: Brand new. Renovated

My wife and I stayed here one night as we were driving through the area. And I was pleased with our choice.
The hotel is easy to access. Parking seemed plentiful.
The front desk staff greeted us and quickly checked us in. We went straight to our room, which was clean and felt fresh. We had a king bed in our suite. The bed was comfortable. We did sit on the couch, but I found that to be a little more firm than I like. But that’s a minor quibble.
There were a few things about the bathroom that I’ll note. The sink is right outside the bathroom, which is nice when you’re getting ready in the morning. However, the entrance to the sink area and the bathroom face the bed (the bathroom has a door but not the sink area), so if you get up for any reason in the middle of the night, anyone else still in bed will potentially have a bright light shining in their face.
I also didn’t care for the placement of the hand soap on the counter. The sink was to the left with counter space on the right. But the soap is also on the right side, meaning if your hands are wet when you get soap, you’ll drip water on anything you have on the counter.
I did think our floor felt a bit like a maze. I realize all room exteriors look the same within a hotel, but this one seemed more convoluted. When we left in the morning, I had to think a bit to find my way back to the elevator.
We did go down for breakfast shortly before it closed. They offered some unique options I hadn’t seen before, like a half bagel with egg and cheese. There was just enough batter to get a small waffle. They offer two varieties, regular and cinnamon. We also found fresh fruit, yogurt with lots of options for toppings and some other fare. A pretty good offering for a free breakfast.
The area felt safe with some restaurants nearby.
I would definitely stay here again. My “complaints” are minor and didn’t have any impact on the number of stars I gave. If you’re going to be in the area, this is one of the places I’d recommend.

We have stayed in a coupe other Staybridge hotels and have come to expect a certain quality. This hotel, is not that. TIME FOR A REMODEL!
The rooms are in disrepair. When we arrived, we noticed there was nowhere to unload at the front lobby and no slope off the curb anywhere for the luggage cart. Upon entering the suite and looking for silverware, I found the dishwasher clean but unloaded. As I put dishes away, the one skillet available was still dirty as the dishwasher could not clean off the stuck-on eggs.
The suite was somewhat tight, but we appreciated the full-size fridge and stove burner. The fold-out sofa is in-fact a single bed with a chaise (which worked for us because our kids are small still). The TV would not turn on in the bedroom (at check-in the front desk clerk was telling someone else on the phone that all she could tell them was to unplug it and plug it back in but not very concerned). I tried that and it eventually rebooted and functioned (but the remote did not work well). The USB port in the side table were broken, one of the reading lamps were burned out.
The mold/mildew in the bathroom was disgusting and maybe enough for us to leave if the room had been refundable (the top of the door frame in there has clearly not been wiped in years. I've never seen anything like it).
On our final day, I noticed the odd placement of the art in the bedroom (only over 1 of the beds) and looked more closely to see water streaks down the wall behind them...not sure if it's moisture from the bathroom or if the room had a leak at some point, but after 3 nights my husband's eyes were itching and my little one could not stop sneezing. The laundry facilities were free to use (HUGE BONUS), but there are only 2 working dryers. We noticed that this is a hotel frequented by long-term repeat clients that use those facilities regularly and we had to get up at dawn to have use of a machine. We ended up taking wet clothes on the road when we checked out bc there wasn't a dryer available.
The only redeeming qualities were the regular staff. Not the night we checked in (she was short and not helpful at all), but the nights following the front desk clerk was great! He was quick and efficient and very willing to help. And Vickie maintained breakfast daily (though with limited options) with a smile and pleasant chitchat.

Nice place but housekeeping is a bit of a letdown. Breakfast was good, Staff was friendly, but there was a sticky spot in my carpet, mold or mildew growing on the ceiling in the bathroom, and my coffee pot had no been cleaned (very obvious due to the crusty black nastiness left in the bottom). The Faucet in the shower also didn't work properly, in that the diverter valve would not allow for the spout OR the shower...both were on 100%. Not huge issues, but a little more attention to detail would make a big difference to what could be a pretty nice place.

While the 1 King, 2 Queen bed was spacious and fairly recently updated; maintenance had not been kept well. The windows did not completely close due to bent sills, some hardware was loose and falling off suit doors in between rooms, a sink was non-functional and also still full of water and shaving residue of a previous occupant. The tv in one bedroom had no sound.
We also encountered a pillow evidently unchanged (mascara from previous resident obvious on it).
The staff were friendly and courteous, and offered points to make up for the disappointment, which I appreciate. It should be noted that the breakfast was also good.
It could have been so much better if the maintenance and cleaning of the room was up to par.
