“I would have given five stars but the first room that we checked into had issues (room 101). We mentioned the issues and Amy moved us to a new room. She also checked on us later to see we were content. The second room was very good! So I would say customer service is fantastic. I would highly recommend for service and location.”
“We love staying at the Aurora Inn each year! The rooms are clean, the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. Perhaps our favorite part is the top-notch restaurant — amazing food, ambiance, and cocktails — and how staff members are so friendly.”

Nearby activities: Art museum, theaters, parks, shopping, restaurants.
Safety: Felt safe, even walking back from EJ Thomas Hall, 10-15 min dependent on pace.
Walkability: Able to walk to theaters, park, and other restaurants.
Food and drinks: The 1 Food and Spirits is an excellent restaurant. Recommend reservations especially if going to a show downtown.

“I stayed here for my birthday last year 2023 in June as a surprise weekend with my girls. The whole experience was great! The hotel the food the pool. I would suggest this hotel to any of my family or friends for sure. Also recently with another couple I went and had kids lunch at the hotel about Feb 2024 and couldn't have been happier. In fact I had wanted a drink but I'm not a big drinker and only like fruity stuff so the server / bartender said she had something perfect for me and made me one of the best fruity drinks I ever had, everyone at the table saw mine and they all wanted one :-). Great staff and beautiful hotel, I think it's the best one here in my little city of Akron, OhioFood & drinks: When my daughter's and I stayed we got a breakfast ticket and OMG don't pass it up, you can take it in the morning to the food area and basically get anything made for you fresh and hot not like other places where everything's just already out, welllllll worth it for sure!! And if you like fruity drinks ask the bartender for her fruity special, I can't remember the sweet young lady's name... Star or something ...but best service for sure!!”

“I’ve stayed here for years always great service.Great location close to downtown and anywhere in Akron you want to go. All the rooms are refinished and extremely nice. The owners are Great people who are always willing to help you in anyway and treat you like family. I highly recommend staying at this location.”
“This Motel 6 was a solid stay for the price. The room was clean, everything worked, and the property was quiet. The staff were great, very nice, professional, and courteous.
There’s a Pilot travel center right behind the building, so snacks and essentials are within walking distance. Across the interstate, there’s a Mexican restaurant called Cozumel that serves phenomenal food. There are other options available on Uber Eats as well, though delivery might take a little longer. I mentioned Cozumel because it is the closest restaurant in the area.
Great location, no hassle, and well worth it if you’re looking for something affordable and reliable. I would stay here again.”

“Cindy was very welcoming an amazing when we were touring apartments. We absolutely loved our apartment not because it's ours but the hospitality we got in the process of getting it. I recommend to anybody to rent an apartment here because the apartments are spacious and comfortable plus they allow fur babies! Rent is not too bad either and they have a POOL!”

“For a two star hotel I give this one 5 stars. It is clean. Everything works. The property is well maintained. Includes breakfast. Coffee is better than almost any high end hotel I have ever stayed in. For $50 a night this hotel provides more value to the customer per dollar than any other I have ever stayed in.”

“The rooms are large which is nice. I book 2 queen bed walk in shower. Room was clean. The shower had cracked floor and was leaking water under floor. When noitfied mangement sad we know about it. Manny in housekeping provided excellant serice with our requests. That man deserves a raise. Location is great lots of shopping and food places. Close to twinsburg if go to the festival in august.”
“Excellent experience. I had mark for a massage he did an amazing stone massage. Elona was wonderful at the front desk. We met the owner she was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Our server at the resturant joe was on top of it with great service. I would recommend this place all the way around.”

“Wish I could give 4 and a half stars. Wasn't quite a 5 star experience, but was absolutely not unpleasant in any way either. The location is most of the problem. The interstate out front is rather loud in the mornings if you get one of the front facing rooms. This location has at least one jacuzzi room, and that's the one my fiance and I booked for the night. Was a reasonable price on it as well. I do have to say, the service was great! I was offered extra towels for our jacuzzi room before we even finished checking in. Something no other hotel I've stayed in with a jacuzzi room booked has done for me, which I feel should be common courtesy for such a room. Very kind gentleman behind the desk when we arrived. We asked to check in early, but were denied that, but I can't hold that against them really at the end of the day. Overall, a decent place to stay. The dry wall on the walls is peeling, and the hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean; I didn't see one bug while I was inside the building; and the jacuzzi worked great. It's still a 2 star hotel, you need to have realistic expectations when staying here. Will definitely stay here again in the future.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights while cycling the Towpath Trail and visiting Cuyohoga National Park. I enjoyed their breakfast selection the most, especialy the danish and pound cake and the potatoes with peppers dish they had on the last morning I was there. I also lucked out on being assigned a room at the far end of the building, which meant no hearing noises from people walking in the hallways. I probably got the best sleep here out of any hotel I've stayed at!
For the most part the rooms were clean, but there were some dishes in the dishwasher when I got there thatwere cleaned (still hot) but not put away, and one of the plates has stuck on spaghetti sauce that the dishwasher did not remove. Also the bathtub had an unusually high step over. From my experience it looks like it was either retrofitted in to cover an older tub or to correct plumbing that didn't line up. If it weren't for that I would have given this place 5 stars. I would book again on my next visit here.”
