I was debating on leaving a review but I felt so demoralized that I decided to. I would not recommend this location if you have an autistic child, even if they are higher functioning. I’m also not sure if this is because my son is trans, which I didn’t think about being a possible motivating factor until just now. The whole situation took five minutes and it was so absolutely frustrating. My son goes in, gets called back, as he’s walking back he goes to sit in the chair but doesn’t know how to sit back in it naturally because of the leg rest in the middle. Her response is “Just sit in it like a normal chair.” To which he laughs and says “godd*mmit” as a joke. She said “Ok, don’t cuss at me.” Autistic kids often have issues with language, and he was joking. I understand that people have different filters, but there is a way to correct without condescending. And then when my son comments that he does not like looking in the mirror (another common issue with autistic kids) she replies “then close your eyes.” This has NEVER been an issue at any other salon, they would simply turn him away from the mirror so he could be more comfortable. His hair is also knotted in spots at the ends of his hair and she said that his “whole head was matted” and she wasn’t trained (?) or something to deal with that, and all she could do was a buzz cut which is the opposite of what he wanted, so I’m trying to ask him what he wants to do and the whole time she is talking to us like we’re stupid. I have never genuinely dealt with a hairdresser so curt, condescending, impatient, and uncompassionate. We literally walked out within five minutes and he was on the verge of tears. I’m honestly so livid and disappointed because it ruined his day because not only did he not get the haircut he wanted, but someone treated him like he was garbage. now I have to work back to fixing this and I think it’s so… awful. I don’t even want anything, I just want to warn people. Still giving two stars because the front desk girl who checked us in was very kind and efficient.

I went on a Monday afternoon and there was no wait which was nice. My stylist was Kayleigh who did an amazing job. As soon as I sat in the chair, she asked several questions to make sure we were clear on what I wanted. She kept up great conversation and was so friendly while also paying close detail to my hair, making sure every strand was perfectly cut lol. Super personable place so I’ll make sure to come back again!

I came in today and got my hair cut... I had no wait after checking in online. Natalie cut my hair and she was really nice and I love how it turned out! My hair looks so much better and healthier now.

Went there today because everyone else was closed. Super quick to get in and out. I'm a guy so it was shorter so it looked okay. Except they didn't cut the back right side. I mean sure be not good at your job, just stay home. Definitely would not recommend to get a haircut here unless you are blind and reading this. Because that is the only way I could see them doing a good job.

They often have this sign in the door window saying cash only, when you ask if their payment system is down, they say “ no we just don’t have enough cash in the register. Also they claim that their you have to pay in cash, because they can’t figure out how to keep enough cash on hand to take their tips out. This makes no sense. I’m guessing they want their tips in cash so they can hide it from the IRS. Some version of this mixed up story is given almost every time I go in their salon.
