We had a passport appointment at 2:45. We arrived at 2:46 (snow) and got in line. The passport lady walked through behind the counter at around 2:53 muttering something about being done with passports. We wait a couple more minutes. The nice gentleman behind the counter asks if we are doing passports. We say yes and are told to stand by the chair. We move. He gives us candy. Lady comes out and says we were too late and she’s on lunch now. I hate poor customer service.

I used to go to the main office in Springfield often, and many times it was a major pain to wait. However, today I had to mail quarterly taxes that had to be postmarked today. The outside boxes said last pick up was 5:00pm so since it was after 5:00 I went inside and dropped it in the slot. Their last pickup in the slot is also 5:00, but I didn't realize it. When I walked past the lobby, I caught movement out of the corner of my eye, so I went in. The lobby doesn't close until 6:00. I asked the guy at the window if there was any way someone could retrieve my envelope so it could be postmarked. He just walked over and did it. I really appreciated that! Great job, and thank you again!

Our mail service was discontinued without any advance notice because our mail carrier did not like the location of our mailbox that had been in the same location for decades.

Had a check mailed to wrong address and our wonderful maillady..Amy.. helped us get it. Such a lovely person super helpful and sincere.

I’ve received a birthday card and two bereavement cards that were slit open on the side of each card in two years. Fortunately, there was no money in them.

Had a package get shipped all the way to this post office (which I live in this town) only for it to get forwarded back to the seller. The seller even had a machine label with all my correct information listed on it so there is no possible way that it could have been the wrong address. I feel like they are just stealing people's mail and then not returning it.

Our experience was fine until suddenly they couldn’t deliver a package to our address. We went to talk to the employees multiple times and ask them to hold the package because for whatever reason they kept “failing to deliver” it. We waited a few days for the package to return to the office and when we went to get it, the employees told us that it had been disposed of because no one came to pick it up. Thanks for basically stealing our money and trashing our package. We had gotten packages in the past. Not sure why this one couldn’t deliver to the same exact address we have been living at.

No wonder this location keeps getting 1-starred, this postal service does not care about it’s customers. I tracked my package on the USPS site because of my same day shipped package, turns out it’s here despite the delivery location being a village away. I call in for an automated machine to tell me the exact same thing that the USPS tracking told me, I ask to speak to an agent, and I am met with half an hour of hold music. Your only options are to set up a case inquiry, go online to set up a case inquiry, or speak to an agent to set up a case inquiry, that’s it. After finally getting to talk to an agent after waiting for that long, that’s what my option is? Wait 3-4 business days so they can “investigate” the whereabouts of my package when it’s in their office? BFFR. If your package ends up here, good luck.

I sell online and I need to make sure my packages are scanned in the system. So if for some reason there is a problem with shipping, I am still covered and not out any money as the website I sell under will then reimburse the cost. If you have packages at this post office, they want you to leave them at the counter but you're not guaranteed they'll be scanned in. Everytime a specific employee sees me with packages, he is always annoyed I won't set them on the counter. I even have a scan sheet, so no matter how many packages I have, just one barcode needs scanned. Why is it such a big deal to want my items scanned?

This is the worst the mail has EVER been... My husband gets his checks delivered every 2wks, well for some reason mail is NOT being delivered on our street when that Monday comes for this check. I know its NOT, we wait and watch... See the mail truck on the next block and then its gone, no mail being delivered on our street!!! Then we call & they claim the route in our area is broken up between 4-5 people, well.why are they NOT walking down our street??!! Its frustrating waiting & not having our mail delivered, especially when we NEED that check for bills & whatnot.... Then to be told they did come down our street knowing dam well we watched for HOURS not a single mail carrier walked our ENTIRE block of over 20 houses!

I have been selling on eBay for about 8 years and out of the 3000+ packages I have sent there has only been 2 lost, and a few returned due to insufficient address - these review are supposed to be for this particular branch and they are always friendly - my Mail carrier is beyond amazing - USPS is the best package carriers out there

My complaint is with delivery. Haven't received mail for 3 days & i'm expected to wait another 3 or more days to find out why? Horrible policy
