Speedway in Springfield has mixed reviews highlighting both convenience and significant issues. Customers appreciate the location for quick gas refills and easy access to everyday items, making it a convenient stop for those on the go. However, many reviews point out ongoing problems with store cleanliness and customer service. The store is often described as dirty and poorly maintained, especially during the third shift when it is understocked and has only one employee managing the entire store. Staff behavior varies; some employees are perceived as rude or inattentive, while others are seen as busy on their phones or not providing good service. A recurring concern is the lack of hot sandwiches, which frustrates repeat customers who expect better food options. Additionally, the store entrance has been reported as locked at times, making access difficult. Customers feel that Speedway’s low pay and staffing issues negatively impact the store’s condition and service quality. Despite these problems, the location remains a convenient spot for fuel and basic items, but many believe other local stores like Sunoco offer better service and cleanliness. Overall, Speedway is seen as a place that provides quick gas and convenience but struggles with cleanliness, staffing, and customer care.
Kid at the register was too high to say anything when I went in for candy and gas tonight. The whole transaction was me greeting him and thanking him while he stood there in a zombie state. What a loser

Back entrance was locked when I stopped by the Derr rd Springfield, Ohio location. Two cashiers so no long lines to checkout.
