“I have had my stuff there for almost 2 years and have changed units 2x they were decently priced when I first got my unit and when I changed units but since then they have upped the price by $40 and there is never anyone there on site in case u have a question or something and I have checked i can get a cheaper unit and have thought about moving but I don't want to cause I'm the kinda person that if it's working stay with it but $40 increase is kinda ridiculous”

My husband and I have been using this uhaul for a while now for our food truck business Dip Tacos and for our car selling business, renting pickups, trailers, dollys and propane. We came yesterday to rent a trailer to haul a car from auction and Bryan helped us, he is truly courteous and genuine! “I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Extra Space Storage on 1st St. in Springfield, OH. I’ve actually been there twice now, and both times, I left feeling like I made the right choice , not just because the place is clean and the prices are reasonable (though they absolutely are), but because of the people who work there.
On my first visit, I went in just to check out a unit. DJ, the assistant manager, was the one who showed me around. From the moment we started talking, I could tell customer service was absolutely his thing. He didn’t just rattle off facts or rush me through the process. DJ took his time, explained everything clearly, and made me feel totally at ease, like I wasn’t just another person coming through the door. Sometimes you can tell when someone cares about their job, and, more importantly, cares about the people they’re helping. That’s exactly what I got from DJ. I felt listened to and respected the entire time.
When I came back to actually rent the unit, Britney the manager helped me. Britney has this amazing way of making you feel right at home. She didn’t just handle my paperwork; she asked questions, made conversation, and really connected with me as a person. She made it clear my business mattered, and, honestly, those small gestures matter just as much as a good deal or a spotless facility. The process felt easy, and I walked away feeling confident that my stuff was not just safe, but valued.
Sure, every storage place will promise climate control and good prices and security. But being able to trust the people you’re doing business with? That’s rare. At Extra Space Storage on 1st St., it feels like you’re more than just a number. Both DJ and Britney go out of their way to make a personal connection. and that’s what truly sets this place apart.
