I began to visit the Meijer pharmacy again. I moved close to its location. They have what you need most time and the cashiers were friendly and helpful.

My wife had mastitis and needed a script of dicloxacill. They called the pharmacy (Walmart on bechtle) it was being held hostage at and was able to transfer it to meijer. They had it filled 5 mins after I originally called, real mvp’s!!!

This pharmacy has issues with actually keeping adequate amounts of medications on hand. I’ve had this happen with simple blood pressure medications, muscle relaxers, antibiotics as well as pain meds and other non-opiate controlled meds. They aren’t always honest with when “a truck” is to come in with these meds and if you want your script to go somewhere that does have your med - Meijer or not, they say that it is your job to find another Meijer or other pharmacy that has the med in stock. Then you will have to make numerous calls to actually have it transferred. I’m dealing with having thing moved to a pharmacy in Enon. Meijer swears they sent it but I’m more inclined to believe the other store.

They will tell you your doctor didn't call it in and then you go to your doctor's office and they call in front of you then you hear yes we got it we overlooked it. Instead of being lazy could've saved me trip and a 1hr extra wait to have them filled if they would've just took the time to look when I told them they were called im with prescriptions she handed me.

A step up from Walmart in terms of cleanliness and atmosphere. I usually pick up misc things for house, meds, hygeine, small electronics goodies like cables, adapters here. As I generally prefer Target locations, this place has an in store pharmacy, and I have my medications filled here. It just so happens they're on the GoodRx list of cheapest places in Springfield to fill the meds I'm on. They carry very basic things in the lines of housewares, home improvement, electronics and budget clothing. But like I said before, for what I use this place for, it is overall generally cleaner & fosters a better atmosphere than the Walmart that's close by. Lastly, the placement of products are easier to find what your looking for as well as keeping shelves well stocked.
