“The manager of this store is always willing to help solve any problem that I may encounter while shopping there. Will make every attempt to obtain a specific item if you are able to provide the identifying information about the item that I would like to purchase. She has even helped look up the identifying information if I get stuck and am unable to get the information that is required to order the item. All managers should be so willing to assist customers. There is a older man that works there that looks like he is in pain, walks with a limp and seems to spend more time outside smoking than he spends inside working. Any time that I have asked him for assistance he never knows if they have the product that I am asking about and he is never able to check the computer system for the item. It seems like the computer system is down for maintenance or out of service.”
“This store is much nicer than our poor excuse for one in Urbana. The staff is even nicer and more attentive. It's neater and bigger as well.
We found everything we needed. I was also surprised to see that they even sell wine.
I plan on going to this one when I pass through from now on.
Our cashier was a sweetheart, too.
I dropped my pen from my purse while retrieving my wallet, and it was promptly lost in the candy bars. I looked for a short time, but told her it wasn't very important. She immediately offered her own pen, which as it turned out was much nicer than the one I'd lost. I really like this place.”

“I hadn't been in this store for a couple of years. I have to say I'm so impressed that I promise I'll be back soon! It was neat, clean, well put together, & prices were really pretty good! Their food prices are competitive with Kroger. A lot of time, Kroger doesn't even have half the items that I went in for. This store really surprised me! Tons of choices including frozen foods, lots of fresh produce and fresh bread & dairy. The staff that were working were so helpful, and pleasant to talk to. Definitely worth the trip if you just want a few items & know Kroger down the road will likely be too busy, with all of the carts for pickup or delivery!”

“The gentleman who was the only one working it seemed was so polite he helped my friend find a tin pan then was even going to cover her the rest of the change due out of his own pocket which I thought was quite amendable then I said I'd cover her part since I was next in line so he didn't have to make up extra out of his drawer. “This Family Dollar is a lot cleaner then the one next to my house ( Wittenberg) and that's why we go there. The staff are very helpful and the isles are actually clear and there's more room for parking. Yes, I'm a horrible driving when it comes to backing up. I don't like the fact that you can't take ur cart outside tho so for that, they get 4.5 Stars”
“Best dollar store around - and opened the latest! Hopefully corporate Dollar General will turn this one in to a Dollar General marketplace like the one in Fairborn, Ohio on Broad Street. Since Krogers is and has went down and away in the South side of Springfield it has been rather difficult buying groceries clear on the north side only if Springfield for everyone; including us people whom live in Yellow Springs! Dollar General on Yellow Springs Street needs to expand in to the field next door - and or buy the old Krogers store on South limestone and create a Market Dollar General store as WE the customers have NO options as to where to buy our food from! Let's say the options are slim pickings; either north side Krogers or North side Walmart! Clearly we NEED more options we live on the SOUTH side and many consumers like me live outside of the south end of Springfield. We are driving past 2-3 Dollar generals every day to get to Kroger's or Walmart's on the north end ! It makes PERFECT sense 2 invest in us!”
