Absolutely would not spend another penny there after Today's experience lI'm disabled, as I walked in to the store the cashier asked if they could help me with anything I told him I was looking for hooks that went in the ceiling his response was "probably isle 8" after looking everywhere on isle 8 and ALL the other isles I could hear the employees at the front of the store chitchatting about a gas station being built in Huber heights! Yet another older gentleman and I look for what we came for.. As I decided NOT to waste my time or give them my money 1 decided to ask me if they could help me HA NO I'LL SPEND MY MONEY ELSE WHERE!!! When and if the store closes the employees will have Soo much more time to conversate.

Ah the soul of a real local hardware store like Grandma and Grandpa used to talk about.Others have pretty much explained why this is a good place to go. On the one hand it's a legitimate and local hardware store and not a warehouse store like home Depot or Lowe's. There might be things that they don't have there that are usually larger as other reviews suggests such as tables or mantels however if you are doing anything for home improvement, carpentry projects or even updating elements of your home like I am the. This is the place for you.No matter who is working I am always audibly addressed so that they can help me find what I need and they never hang over your shoulder while you are looking.Only some things are slightly higher priced than your larger stores personally I consider that a convenience tax to avoid the hellscape that is Bechtel. It's worth it and it's local and I like supporting them. Most recently I had a project to remove a mold issue in our main bathroom. The issue was that our house has a lot of modernization that needs done and one of those is that the bathroom needs to be restored and there is no ventilation in there like in modern restrooms. Because of this we have to either keep the shower window open or prop the door open to the hallway. Until we can afford to have professionals redo the bathroom and install a stand in shower with ventilation I wanted to at least eliminate the mold problem as best I could in the main man himself gave me advice on how to remove it and had a product available as well as tools to make the job a little easier. I will use these tools for other things and the product and tools worked amazingly!This review might be long-winded but I feel like people truly don't go into detail enough when service is amazing. I will continue the support this store as long as I live here and I recommend you at least give them a try for your hardware needs.Need to replace outlet receptacles and wall plates. They got you covered.Need material to locate and remove mold. They have you covered.Not sure about what sort of tool you need for a niche project. If they don't have you covered they probably know somebody who does as I have seen.I've also seen reviews on humor people said that that the main dude here spoke to them like they were dumb. I think nowadays people belittle intelligence as opposed to revering it. Don't be like those people If you don't know something you're not dumb you are just ignorant. Being ignorant is not a crime and that's why there are people to help you and teach you along the way.Will come again!!

There's something about a real hardware store that's good for the soul. I love coming here because they have pretty much what you need except for the big ticket items like kitchen cabinets or bathroom vanities. Always helpful and pricing is not different from the big box stores. I especially love this place because I don't have to walk half a mile like in a big box store or fight traffic on Bechtel.

Just moved to Springfield and I can tell you from personal experience in the home remodeling field. This store and the owner are super knowledgeable, reasonably priced and carry a good variety of products. I definitely found my primary hardware store in town. Keep up the awesome job!?
