All around an amazing experience with Mike! Mike will tell you how it is and not sugar coat anything which I respect and loved about the training. Brought my cattle dog in for puppy training and had a great time and learned a ton. Huge difference in my dog from the start to now. He’s still a puppy but a puppy that understands commands and rewards. I would suggest Mike and this business to anyone looking to have their dog trained. Can’t wait to eventually start the next level training sessions! 11/10.

Hands down the best dog trainer EVER!! Not only has Mike been great with our dog, but he has been very patient with us as well, which has allowed for us to fully understand this whole process. Our year-old golden retriever was very hard to handle, but after spending a week with Mike, we had a totally different dog! Mike truly cares about each and every dog and genuinely wants them to succeed. He provides you with all the tools necessary to maintain the training once you have completed your session. Not only does he provide four free sessions after your training, but he greatly encourages that you continue to bring your dog weekly to maintain the training. Mike is very easy to communicate with, which makes the whole process that much better! I cannot recommend Mike and his dog training services enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his ability to transform dogs!!! I took my 8 month old out of control, hyper lab puppy to him and she's now such a different dog and I feel like I have control and can now enjoy my life with her. He is soo knowledgeable and patient and my dog loved seeing him everyday. I cannot thank Mike enough and would totally recommend him to anyone looking for a good dog trainer. Thank you MIKE!!!

We were extremely impressed with Mike’s professionalism and ability to teach our Goldendoodle, Riley, some manners. Mike spent 5 days with Riley and it was incredible to see the difference when Mike was done. As Mike says at the end of training, we’re just getting started, and we now feel like we have the tools to continue to effectively work with Riley going forward when we felt a little lost before this started. Homeland K9 is worth every penny and more and Mike truly cares about getting the most out of your dog! 12/10 recommend.

We recently had to have our last dog put to sleep. 13 years ago, Mike did an amazing job training him. We are excited to take our new puppy for his training practices again. Mike does not just train the puppy, but trains the owners, as well. If you're not going to follow his simple directives, don't bother wasting your time, your new dog's time or Mike's time. Mike is professional and provides an amazing service at a great value...and guarantees his work!

Absolute best, he completely changed our relationship we have with our dog Hazel. We take her everywhere with us now and she just walks right beside us. On hikes we let her off leash when it permits and she just stays around us. We recommend his training to everyone!
