I've really tried to give this place multiple chances. Working as a pharmacist or pharmacy tech right now has to suck. DDM recently changed their policy, requiring you to provide the GoodRx full ID in order to use the service. Another employee, I believe her name is Donna, explained this to me a week prior, and I was prepared.
I stated that I had GoodRx at the beginning of the transaction. I was still billed incorrectly. Darrell decided to come to the window and say that I needed to go behind 10 cars and wait while they rebilled me. My prescriptions were in his hand. I stated that I could not wait, that we were out, and I'd be more than happy to wait while they rebilled. The avenues that this man tried to take to get me wait an additional 30 to 45 minutes for a billing mistake he made was surprising and downright unethical.
Btw, the cost of the prescriptions went down from almost $65 to $30 just by giving this man the super not so secret magic code they now require.
Requiring consumers to go the extra mile to tell you the SAME identifying numbers for your specific business that is given, FOR FREE, to everyone in the United States, because you want to trick someone into paying more money for their prescription, is already a shameful and predatory business practice in my opinion, but I don't make the rules and I doubt you do either. To then have the audacity to force the error of your mistake onto the consumer by refusing to rectify your error in a timely manner is why I'm writing this today.
I could spend hours typing up a review about this, because he spent more time arguing than he did trying to rectify the issue he caused. Darrell is the most ill-mannered, snobby, unreasonable man I've ever met, and for this reason alone, I will be transferring our services to another pharmacy.
I went back and forth on how to write this review, and I decided to go with what he deserves. I call it, "My Ode to Darrell"
Oh, Darrell. I hope every unattended LEGO eviscerate your unsuspecting feet. I hope every time you order food, it doesn't taste as good as the last time you ate it. May all your packages be lost in transit, may your coffee be too hot to drink, may your soup be too cold and greasy. I hope every minor inconvenience that life has to offer is bestowed upon you, and I hope every time it happens, you think of how annoyingly inconvenient and rude you were to me on August 21st.

The customer service here is outstanding- even though CVS is the cheapest under my plan- I will only use drug mart going forward.
When CVS in Middletown auto-texted me they did not have my Rx of antibiotics to fill for my toddler, and then never called me back after leaving a vm (no one answers the phone at this location) the Drs office suggested transferring my Rx to drug mart. When I got there to pick it up, the Drs office had already closed and drug mart did not have it in stock either. The Pharmacist Donald was extremely helpful explaining the suspension was odd and he couldn’t find it at any drug mart and even tried calling Kroger for me. He recommended paging Dr on call from the practice who wrote the Rx. After a callback he spoke directly to the NP and took the Rx over the phone and filled it right then and there. This was all after his shift was over. They also filled my other Rx for eardrops, but because CVS had filled it, They had to charge me retail. He explained that if I could get CVS to back out of the Rx, I could call in and get the Rx price which was a $90 refund.

I have been going to this store for about 2 to 3 years. I switch over from Kroger due to Nate the pharmacist at that time he was a very nice and helpful gentleman. I have still been going to this pharmacy and everyone but one person has always been very friendly. I have made more than one complaint on Donna in the pharmacy. This lady has got to be the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. I complained recently and a pharmacist Cody called me and apologized for Donna’s behavior toward me. I don’t feel comfortable with my prescriptions still being filled at this pharmacy. I am very tired of being treated rudely by Donna. It is very sad that one employee can make your experience in a store so terrible.

You need anything special? Call ins for a vacation override? Forget it! Call the doctor for an override? No can do! They run a professional clean pharmacy that is true, but if you need anything extra to process your prescription you are stuck.

We had an incredible experience with the pharmacy here. This isn’t our normal pharmacy, we came here because we needed medical equipment for our child, and the pharmacy staff went above and beyond. The two that helped me were Donna and Darryl, they treated us like their own family, and it was just so kind and admirable how willing they were to do the extra work. The entire staff in this very busy pharmacy was wonderful to the many people waiting for flu shots, medication fills, etc. I was so impressed and thankful to see the elderly in our community so well cared for.

Trash, literally got tired of getting hosed at Kroger Austin landing. I called to drug mart to ensure they had my prescription in stock and the answer was definitively yes. I even called at noon to make sure my script would be ready by the evening and was told yes again definitely by then. Low and behold I show up and they not only don’t have literally the lowest dose and amount that can be prescribed as stated, they out the damn thing on hold because of insurance even though I explained it all and ok the price over the phone before it was transferred. Incompetence at best, go somewhere else. I heard Amazon is in the big pharma business now so maybe give that a shot. They can get me 90 inch tv overnight but I can’t get a prescription without a dance and show.

I absolutely love Discount Drug Mart. The pharmacy staff I interact with are always friendly and willing to take their time to help a customer work out an issue, whether it is cost of a medication or availability. Myself and my son are on medications I have had a hard time refilling before, and Drug Mart always comes through. They have accommodated many times for us in ways I can't express enough gratitude for. Staff are always friendly on the phone, and I love shopping here for the many unique things you can find for a great price. I am very loyal and pleased with DDM. Thank you for all you do!!

Have spent over 20 min in drive thru line. Have 5 cars behind and the same car still at window. Same yesterday and called them from drive thru only to find out they didnt have my medicine and it had to be ordered.

After being a loyal customer for over 4 years you have lost my business permanently. I was shopping tonight getting my usual groceries and looking at your model car and hobby supplies you had two cashiers available lady in front of me had a full basket I had a full basket so I went to register one. Cashier said I'm closed as I proceeded to go back to the line where I was at the customer in front of me asked why to the cashier the lady very nasty responded I'm going on break. The customer and I both agreed that wasn't right because she left one cashier with a line of four customers. So the lady then asked to speak to the manager the cashier was very reluctant and hesitant on knowing who was on duty as a manager tonight when the manager did finally arrive the other cashier that was being very rude was standing there complaining how she has to do everything. Long story short the customer in the cashier started getting very heated in their conversation the cashier was getting very rude very vulgar and was raising her voice and then started to yell at my wife and I saying we were the only ones in line at this point the manager walks off and leaves the cashier and the customer in the middle of a heated discussion I walked out of the store and told them I would not be back

Great customer service, a lot of products to choose from, very clean store. Pharmacists takes the time to answer any questions you may have.
