“What can you say about such a nostalgic store. Let's see, they have everything and then some, the two gentlemen working there are helpful and just wonderful with great laughter. I think this store carries anything and everything from items you cannot find other places to antiques. I was pleasantly suprised to find good quality lamp oil. They wrapped the glass items I purchased with care. I went back about 60 years when I would go with my dad to the hardware store for nails, wood or screws. . Thank you for the most wonderful experience and bringing back a most cherished memory for me. Wonderful place!”

“This place is awesome! As someone who owns and rehabs old houses, it’s a cool place to shop (or just browse some of the classiest and also weirdest stuff from the past).But, I also tend to have a lot of cool stuff that I’ve removed from houses but had no use for. I brought a bunch of stuff down ( you need to have an appointment first) and the ladies were awesome at inventorying and pricing it and it’s been selling WAY faster and with less hassle to me when I’ve used Craig’s, marketplace, etc.”

“I try to patronize "mom and pops'" wherever geographically I am at that time of need, but especially in the community I find myself living in and spending a majority of my time. That said, I wandered into Wilkes with a question, the likes of which were admittedly ambiguous and given that my knowledge of the English languages' adjectives are nothing to write home about Jack, the apparent owner gave me the time of day and despite not ending up having the hardware I needed pointed me to a close location that had more chances of stocking what I needed. I ended up buying some WD-40, of which I have 5 cans of, from him anyway as a tip of the hat on my way out because it always feels good to wash each other's hands and if we're honest, WD-40 is hobbyists'/DIY'ers cheat code. “I needed a simple flapper for a toilet repair that I have to do every 3-5 years in my home. I went to Ace Hardware and bought the piece after consulting with an employee and showing pictures. When I went to install I quickly realized it was not the part for my toilet. I had to go back to Ace where I learned they did not carry the flapper I needed. Went to Home Depot and no luck there either but a friendly man from H.A.S. Construction also shopping told me I’d need to go to Cleveland Plumbing Supply as the part I needed and had purchased in the two previous stores for the last 15 years was no longer sold anywhere. When I arrived at Cleveland Plumbing John greeted me and was the first person that knew exactly the part I was searching for, got it and quickly rang me up and I was out the door! This is the place to go now! Thank you John!”

“Called ahead after I Google Satellited the place & saw how little space they had for a 53ft dry van. Was told I was more than welcome to come the night prior to stay over night. Told I could go ahead & break seal & dock only in the dock by the wall. Guy said they'd wake me up when they were done unloading. Other docks are for pickup trucks & box trucks. I complied. I also put the ppw in the back of the trailer. Surprisingly, they started on my trailer at 0600. Got ppw at 1015.”

“Such an amazing store. Service America. Really great customer support. I needed keys made. They had the keys in stock. They make excellent keys for you. Economy prices. Lots of air filters. Lots of household supplies. They were very friendly to my small dog. I needed some Garden Vinegar. Which is a higher concentration than household vinegar. They had it available and the technician showed me right where it was. Another technical expert gave my dog a treat. My family loves this store. I saw lots of items I want for the future. A variety of backyard pools. Inflatable and vinyl. Lots of backyard and outdoor items.”
