I had an appointment booked for June 8th, 2024 at 11:45 am with Sadia because I am going to a wedding... She called me over a month in advance asking what I want done with my hair but I wasn't sure because I haven't even looked at ideas... She was extremely rude on the phone when she called me and demanded that I push back my 11:45am appointment to 10:00 am because I was her only client that day and she wanted to come in, do my hair and leave... which I understand, but I booked it for a specific time, and that's the time I wanted...I also had another service booked and she was extremely rude when she told me it would be an extra charge for a blowout.. .which would have been fine had she not been so rude. I don't have to be at the wedding until 3:00 pm and I was worried that my hair won't last that long because my hair barely holds curls... I have since cancelled my appointment and booked with someone else because there is no way I am letting a woman that talks to her clients over the phone like that touch my hair.

Terrible! I'm not sure how many times I had to walk around the store before I could find an employee who was willing to help me find products. It seemed like they were more interested in gossiping with other employees than actually helping their customers. I'd also like to add that if I was a business owner, I would not let my employees wear dog collars or crop tops with their entire midriffs hanging out. I'll go back to ordering from Amazon.

What a disappointment their ear piercing service was! I was getting a close family friend's ear pierced for her 13th Birthday. Her parents are both disabled so it's hard for them to come to the store in person. We went to the store in advance and were told that we could take a waiver home for her parents to sign. The following week when I called to make the appointment, I was told that whoever had told me that had been wrong- a parent would have to come in person. So I made arrangements for her dad to come to the store, and we booked an appointment. When we arrived we were greeted by a woman who never even told us her name. I had an excited but nervous 13 year old with me and I told the woman some back story- to try to get her to connect -that we had waited 6 months from her birthday to do this because it took a while for her mom to agree (mom was worried about after care and infection), . The woman was COLD and couldn't care less. I asked her how long until we could change the earrings and she was very vague- didn't really seem to know. Now comes the clincher -after piercing this girl's ears- she couldn't find ANY ear cleaner in the store to send her home with for aftercare!!!! She had a manager help look and neither of them could find any! Instead of being apologetic, the were defensive and annoyed with us! There were NO printed going home care instructions -only some vague oral directions and like I said- NO CLEANER!!! The only concession made was that they took the cost of the ear cleaner off my bill. I ended up spending MORE than that at CVS to try to put together my own solution whit sterile saline, alcohol and an empty bottle. The ultimate irony came when the check-out lady asked if we would like to leave a tip...I replied- I'd leave a tip but I don't even know the name of our piercer! I would NEVER recommend this salon!

the staff is very helpful!! they can hold a conversation and are very personable! the atmosphere is nice, the building is pretty clean!! some of the testers were absolutely garbage.. how long do they leave it before they replace it? some of them were completely destroyed and unusable. the stock was really low! not sure if maybe we went the day before they got a shipment or what, but there was a ton out of stock completely. the clearance section has been mangled and gone through, opened, used, broken, etc., which i suppose is why they're on clearance, but again im not sure where they draw the line on what is acceptable to sell. would prefer a different location but will go here again if i must.

I was just along for the ride. My wife visits Ulta because it the best place for her hygiene needs. She has been to different locations around Akron but this is now her favorite store. Everyone was so friendly.
