This is one of those special hotels that is awesome because of the people that work there. Every interaction I had, from checking in, to breakfast, to checking out, the people were warm and friendly. It was a little farther away from why I travel to NE Ohio, but I would go back again in a heartbeat because of the people. Kudos to management for instilling such a positive and warm culture.

Very nice hotel near a small town with plenty of restaurants. The halls smelled strongly of spicy foods. This was not expected, but wasn’t a big issue.Walkability: You can walk to town from here, but there aren’t continuous sidewalks, so you’ll be in the road sometimes.

This was our second time staying here and probably our last. The first time we had issues with our key cards and mobile key which apparently have not been resolved because we had the same issues this time. I get a notification from the app that my digital key is ready and to head straight to my room only for the door to not open. The desk tells me I have to stop by the front desk first to verify my identity and activate the mobile key. That contradicts the app and completely defeats the purpose of mobile key. We were given two keycards also which only worked on the outside door. The mobile key did not work on the outside door but did on our room. How convenient! The doors are also WAY too heavy. I couldn’t open the door on my own. Thank god I was traveling with my husband or I would have been sleeping in the hallway. Our room smelled like it had been smoked in which was also wonderful. The heater hadn’t been used in awhile which was evident when we turned it on and it smelled like burned hair (that first heater run of the season smell). Seems like that shouldn’t have been the case in Cleveland in March. The dishwasher was also very disgusting. Smelled like rotten lettuce and had visible food in the bottom. No way I would trust anything washed in that thing. Next time, we are staying elsewhere.

We stay at this hotel when we come into town. The staff are always nice. The facility and the room were clean, but the mattress seems old and not comfortable. Hurts my back each time we stay. I would have like the option to turn the temperature lower in our room since it felt hot. The room door lock would not properly close. The treadmill was not working. The TV's on the treadmills kept loosing signal. I wish they would mix up the breakfast items. No fresh fruit. Seems like same old each time.

The rooms were great! Comfortable beds.Clean, friendly staff. I loved the little kitchen with everything you need. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it.

Don’t trust any negative reviews here, they are crazy!! I had the best breakfast ever in the history of free breakfast. And the nicest staff, the cleanest rooms and throughout the hotel. No nasty pets with nasty owners all over the hotel too!!! Only staying here !!

A special shout-out to Dolly !She runs a great place ! She also put in a 12+ hour day a couple of times this week, which most managers don't do.Dolly has put together an amazing staff ! There are two of them that were above & beyond awesome and amazing, Missy & Ineka. These two ladies always had a smile on their faces when I returned for the evening. I noticed that there wasn't a single person that walked the front desk (coming or going) that they didn't engage to say welcome or have a good evening.They were always very accommodating, engaging, friendly, polite, & professional.They (Dolly, Ineka, & Missy) are definitely assets to this TownePlace Suites location.This is definitely a flagship location that others should come to for training to emulate.Thank you ladies !!I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in town.Rooms: Spacious, very clean, comfortable, & have some awesome bathrooms. Good size closets. Not as noisy as most hotels (hallway door closing noise, other room TV noise).Love how the TV is mounted to the wall close to the bed.
