*a miserable experience here from start to finish. the manager kelly is dishonest. triple check your receipt to make sure you don't get overcharged! if you do, corporate will help you before this location will*to start, kathleen coarsely asked "are you done yet" when i was looking at the travel display. i had 2 candles and other items balanced in one hand. didn't offer me any help, say hi or ask what i was in for, just barked at me like i was a pest. had this been the worst thing that happened i wouldn't even be writing a review. i'd just assume kathleen had a bad day or no social skills and move on. because this was not the only issue i had, i can only assume the team here is the way they are because of bad management.when i was ready to pay, i let the associate felicia know i had two candles i was exchanging and two i wanted to purchase as well as some other items. instead of doing a 2 for 2 exchange, she charged me for one of the candles i'd already purchased the day before in akron. i asked her why she wasn't doing an even 2 for 2 exchange and she told me “it doesn’t work like that”. she did the exchange (incorrectly) first and then had me purchase my new candles. it didn't make sense to me, and i said that, but i also told the employees i understand the semi annual sale is chaotic and i didn't want to be annoying. i was told that the reason i couldn't do my even exchange was because i didn't have a receipt. i was scolded for not having one even though i gave my number and they had all my information. again, i didn't want to be annoying so i bought my items and left. once i went home, i checked my solon receipts and noticed i was charged for the item i was trying to return and Felicia put it back in my bag like it was a new purchase. i called the manager kelly and explained the situation and i told her i'd be coming back for the return. she told me to bring everything i purchased and i did.in store, kelly repeatedly tried to tell me i was in fact given the money back for both candles i wanted to return even though the receipt clearly said 1 for 1 exchange not 2 for 2. i showed her the receipt and she still refused to acknowledge the error and even blamed me for it again mentioning the lack of receipt from my first purchase. finally she said she'd give me the money back for the candle i was originally trying to exchange (that i bought from akron), as well as the one i was charged for in solon. when she was done scanning the candle 2x, she told me to insert my card. the machine didn't say "refund" it said "purchase". i asked her why it was saying "purchase" instead of refund and she told me to keep my card inserted. she then handed me the receipt that printed out and told me to have a good day. at this point i didn't trust anyone so i immediately opened my bank app to see if the return was pending. instead, my app said i'd been charged for the candles i was returning. so now i was overcharged by felicia at 1:29 and overcharged AGAIN by the manager kelly at 4:55. i told kelly she just charged me for the candles instead of doing the return and she responded with "i know". **it would seem that she was hoping i wouldn't notice or had no intention of letting me know her mistake. now i'm out the cost of 3 candles instead of the 1. i said "can i please get my money back?" she sighed and scanned the candles and told me to put my card back in. this time the machine did say "refund" instead of purchase.even though she was able to put that return on my card, she told me she couldn't put the original candle (the one felicia overcharged me for) back on my card and could only do store credit. i asked why when she'd JUST done it and she said "i just can't do it". she put the money on a gift card and sternly handed it to me.hopefully the team gets the training they desperately need because this was ridiculous. it was a hot mess and it wasn't even

The store doesn't participate in bopus. The prices in their store are higher than they are online or in your app. They do not price match their own company.

Decent selection. Prices have increased. Like the idea of having rewards online now. Wish some items were not online online exclusive. It would be awesome if you could ship the online items to the store for pickup to minimize shipping costs. Others stores have had success with this!

I’m contacting corporate after my experience! I come in and I’m immediately greeted which was fine and asked is there anything that I can help you with given a bag before anything could come out my mouth… That was also ok as I started picking out scents I was approached by the same lady saying is there anything I can help you with.. I said no thank you and she just stood there and stared at me for about 1 minute straight… I couldn’t even feel comfortable enough to get what I needed! I just picked my last fragrance and got in the line. The lady at the register did not give me eye contact and was dropping my stuff and acting so nervous like she was on something. Then we got the 40 dollar gift box and she dropped that 2! I was getting the vibes that they don’t deal with black customers or something. I was being watched too much and they were acting so crazy! Definitely giving me Karen vibes! Bath and body works you need to have a more diverse staff and get those women out of there!
