I am incredibly impressed with Albert' Furs and the work Richard did on my Mother-In-Laws coats by creating an exquisite blanket and two pillows. A fabulous way to have her coats used in our every day life. Richard was meticulous in creating these items and the price was very fair. I highly recommend Albert's Furs for recreating and repurposing beloved furs.

I cannot begin to express my delight with Albert's quality work. My leather coat look like it did when I purchased it off the rack in 1991. It is beautiful, to say the least! Customer service was excellent. They were true to their word about when to expect my coat back. Finally, I'm not sure a customer could be the price of their service and receive the quality I did.

This is my third fur coat having altered. Each time I have received superb results, and fantastic service. This last coat is a black mink, which had to be shorted to 55". in addition, I wanted a belt on the back, tabs at the cuffs, buttons removed and the sides taken in slightly. I went in for my final fitting, and am extremely pleased with the results. These changes give the coat a more sophisticated look. Richard and his staff are consummate professionals, and they work do is a real a reflection of the love of the craft.

I bought a 30yr. old full length very dated mink coat that no longer fit me to Albert Furs, I wasn't sure anything could be done with it, after showing me different styles I settled on one, and Richard made the most beautiful sheared mink reversible day coat from it. I will get more use from this than I ever got from the full length coat. It fits perfectly, I love it. Thanks for all your help. Sherry Rinaldi

The only place to have fine leather and delicate clothing repaired. Very reasonable pricing for expert tailoring! You will be happy with the results. I was going to just go to the shoe repair and take my chances they would know what to do but found out Albert was still in business; Now and I know and so do you. Fast, easy, experts and reasonable.

I brought in a 3/4 length beaver coat that belonged to my dad. I am 6'4" and weigh 255 lbs. My dad weighed about 40 more pounds than me. The coat was too big, had epaulets, and slightly padded shoulders. It made me look like a big bear! Richard told me could resize it with no problem.

I’ve brought a leather jacket to get altered and only came because of the amazing google reviews was skeptic at first but when the first second I walked in I was greeted a man named Richard of the rip tutored me a little lesson on how a leather jacket is how suppose to be worn and when I left Richard called me a few days later letting me know there was even a better way/option on altering My jacket sent me pictures of how it should look after and when it was time to pick up my jacket again greeted with amazing customer service put the jacket on and was amazed with the results and on top of it only charged me what he originally told me everywhere else I’ve went told me double the price and was nowhere near as great as alberts fur if I can rate you guys 10 stars I would Proffessional customer service so I would like to say thank you again alberts you guys earned me as a customer for life

Very disappointed with the poor service, unprofessionalism of the owner, Richard Goldman and rudeness of his telephone conversations. I have had two bad experiences with this vendor, one with a coat badly damaged after cleaning. The other with an attempted refit of a coat that was aborted, requiring me to rescue the coat unassembled. Both coats were rendered unwearable, and had to be discarded. Recommend avoiding Alberts Furs.
