I’ve been coming in for the past year or two and honestly what makes this place 5/5 is Helen!! Not only does she do a perfect job and I’ve never had any complains (I’m very strict so usually I do), she is the nicest person and always brings good energy to the store! She always will ask how LA is (I fly from LA to Ohio when visiting family and bring my clothes that need it she’s that good). Highly recommend coming here!

I'm somewhat new to the area. Several people -- including some a very well regarded menswear shops -- recommended this place word of mouth when I asked around. I tried get alterations to sleeves on overcoat and was basically shooed out the door and told to make an appointment. This was after showing up three times prior with the coat expecting someone to be there based on their posted hours, only to find the place closed. This happened on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS. Despite the posted hours, It's kind of a crapshoot as to if/when this place will actually be open for business. You can drop off dry cleaning at the kiosk anytime, but getting alterations or anything where you need to speak with someone is a whole ordeal which apparently needs to be carefully scheduled. I ended up just going to a place called Alberts instead -- who took care of me right away. It took less time to walk in, explain what I wanted, get measured and hand off the coat at Albert's than it did to just show up wait around and then be scolded by the woman at A&M. This place seems to have a good reputation for quality work based on word of mouth recommendations, however because of the way this place is run, it makes of very difficult to use their services.

Helen altered my wedding gown and she was an absolute dream to work with! She’s extremely kind, talented, and professional. I’m so appreciative of her and she made my wedding dress look so perfect for our special day! I can’t recommend her enough.

Helen is incredibly kind and so talented! I had 2 wedding dresses altered beautifully, including repairs to beading work and deep stain removal, both done in only 2 weeks! I was in a boot and she was so patient and accommodating, working efficiently so I wouldn't have to stand for too long on my injured foot. I can't wait to come back to Helen for all of my future alterations needs!!Service: Wedding gown alterations

I had a wonderful experience here getting my wedding dress altered. Helen’s attention to detail surpassed all my expectations! My dress needed several alterations and they were all made to perfection! I have never felt more confident than I did while in the shop. I highly recommend for all your tailoring needs!

The best of the best. Ive been going to A&M for nearly 5 years and can count on Helen for everything from small repairs to major reconstructions. She is creative and knowledgeable and just knows how to make it work. No job is too small or too complex. And she is the only seamstress I’ll trust with my designer vintage pieces. But best of all - she is just a sweetheart who I always look forward to seeing and catching up with.

I have been a customer of Helen's for many years and as a petite woman with very specific tastes, I so appreciate Helen's attention to detail, wisdom, and above all, her very high quality work. Whether it's fixing coat sleeves, hemming pants, adding jacket liners, or customizing a dress, Helen is able to do it all, and always within a very reasonable timeframe. This review is very overdue, as I was reminded of during a recent experience where I dropped off a piece on short-notice, and even though she was very busy, she made sure the piece was ready by my travel departure date, and the craftsmanship was impeccable. I very highly recommend her work if you value care, customer service, and beautiful tailoring.

I see myself, so I appreciate Master Seamstresses when I see their work. I only go here for tailoring, alterations, etc, complicated projects I don't have time for or frankly can't figure out. The results are superb!

Very professional and amazing customer swrvice. Tailordwr a bridesmaid dress an spit straps in so bra straps wouldn't show. I would have never though tof that. It was quick service too and it took a week..

We bring all our tailoring here. They moved locations (shopping plaza behind Miles Farmers market.) At the very end of the plaza. They do great work.
