I’m a real person not a bot fyi.
I saw a post for an item and decided to give a call. My first time. I called and spoke to the owner and ask ”how much something was?”
he laughed rudely and said this must be your first time shopping here, you tell me what you want and make a price”
me thinking it’s a recycle furniture thrift store, for the items I said $50. He then laughed rudely and said “we’re not even on the same page. This items cost $250 brand new.”
….but the item wasn’t brand new. I’m new? I’ve never done this before and what’s up with the third degree? If your whole thing is naming a price….but you don’t like the prices given….JUST MARK THE ITEMS with prices already! Stop with the mind Olympics.
so my bad review is from the interactions, the overpriced thrift store and the owner has the worst customer service.
Also I tried to go in before I made my call and I walked up to the shops and gave them a call the owner said rudely he would not let me in and that check Facebook.
So the reviews of people calling him and saying he’s rude are legit.

Awful. I just had the rudest person ever on the phone when I called inquiring about a table on Facebook. 100% do not recommend. I don’t know how anyone would want to give money to a place so incredibly demeaning.

I had to knock real hard for him to answer. It was the middle of the day. I don't think he wanted my business. I don't know why he didn't want to open the door.

Shady with their pricing and won’t put any details into text. I messaged them asking for a price on a piece and they told me to call with questions. Then they name-call you when you say no thank you. It sounds like they want people to call in and they take the best offer. Not a smart way to do business. The negative reviews that are never addressed tell you all you need to know.

The experience was great! Awesome furniture quality at a very reasonable price. The owner is very quick to respond and offers a tailored shopping experience. If pieces are not exactly what you want, you can have them refinished/restored to your liking. Absolutely will visit again!

This is the owner of Recycle Cincinnati. I chose to leave myself a four star rating because 5 stars would mean we 're perfect and even after 9 years of doing this, lets face it perfection is unattainable. We have a neighboring business that has been convincing people to leave us fabricated reviews for the better part of two years on here and Yelp. They have edited our hours on these pages to be open daily for one hour(an hour being the fewest hours the edit would allow) and have marked my business as "temporarily closed"They know that anyone with a Google account can leave a bogus review and that we have no recourse. What some of the reviews do have correct is that sometimes we have to be out on pickups to keep our inventory changing every single day. We're a one man operation(with the help of my mom),I handle every facet of the business and we cant be around all of the time. We've contacted Google multiple times to report these bogus reviews to no avail. We've contacted Google and Yelp to remove our pages and both will not remove the pages for any reason. Feel free to check us out on Facebook if you'd like to see our reviews by actual human beings that have been by. Hopefully anyone trying to gage how we do business would see the overwhelming inconsistencies as a red flag and check out our Facebook page. In addition they would take into consideration our 9 years in business, our A+ BBB rating, multiple awards and television/online publications featuring us as a much more reliable reflection of our business and how we do things around here. We really do have our super friendly dogs(mentioned in a few falsified reviews) in here(check out facebook for hundreds of pics of them cuddling with children and being lazy), so if you dont like or you are afraid of dogs we're not the spot for you. Thanks

FB states the store is open. Visited 2 different Saturdays, they were closed. Called today, 2/24 since FB says they are open. They are not open! The man that answers the phone number is very, very rude, condescending and mean. I don't know how they stay in business!

Owner has zero customer service. We arrived on a Thursday to find the shop closed with someone inside and a note on the door to call to be let in. We rang the doorbell and no one came so we went back to our car. Within minutes the owner came out to get something out of his truck. We were still sitting in our car and he didn’t acknowledge us in any way. Two more people came up while he was outside and he did not let them in.Extremely rude. Doesn’t care about customers. Will never visit again.

Great selection of furniture. I found, and purchased, a mid century coffee table that I love. I purchased a dresser that is being painted for my daughter. The owners dogs are so sweet. Prices are very reasonable.

They have 2 huge dogs which I heard barking before I entered the store. I asked the owner/manager if he could put them away so I could shop. He said no. I never entered the store. I will go elsewhere.
