Went there to buy a Jeep I saw online. I reached out to the dealership about trades and was contacted by Makayla Bartee. When I showed up, Makayla didn’t miss a beat. Out she went to pull the Jeep around and she tossed me the keys and said don’t wreck it! First time in my life I’ve been granted that freedom. She was very easy to deal with, straightforward and honest. I feel I left there with a great deal! I would highly recommend doing business with Makayla.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a Chrysler Pacifica from one of Germain's Columbus locations that had paint issues that could be fixed under warranty. We had to drive 40 minutes to their dealership in Sidney just so they could take pictures of the affected areas and drive it back home...ok fine but you're telling me we couldn't take our own photos and send them over to be submitted to the manufacturer??Then we had to continuously call them over a 4 month period to see if the warranty claim was approved. I get they don't have much control over the manufacturers response time but we're convinced if we didn't continue calling every other week, they would have just let it slide and not continued contacting the manufacturer on our behalf.Once we were approved they waited until we called back checking on the status of our claim to say they would have contacted us a week prior but they had lost our contact information in their computer system. Again if we hadn't stayed on top of them we would have fallen out of our warranty period and wouldn't have been able to get this fixed. We drove the van 40 minutes to Sidney once again to drop it off as they wouldn't let us choose a body shop closer to us to fix the paint. They also didn't have a loaner vehicle available which left us with only one vehicle to go about our daily lives. After having the van for 2 weeks the body shop only fixed the paint issues on the hood and not the paint issues on the sliding door. We didn't discover this until after we drove there to pick up the van and noticed the door wasn't fixed. Germain claimed that the bulletin didn't mention any doors even though we could easily pull it up and show them that the sliding door was covered and should have been fixed. We had to leave the van at the dealership so they could bring it to a different body shop to have the door fixed. Further making us question why we couldn't bring it to a body shop closer to us?!? Again all of this without being offered a loaner vehicle or an apology for the numerous trips we took to have this issue not be taken care of.Now we have to go another several weeks without a second vehicle. This whole process has taken way longer and has caused way more headaches than it ever should have. They are slow, unorganized, unprofessional, uncourteous, and not at all willing to go out of their way to make this process easy on you. 10/10 would not recommend ever doing business with them!

Complete run around on 2015 Grand Cherokee repair. Bought when dealership was still Dan Hemm. Life time warranty except for paint and body. Don't think Germain's wanted to do repair on blend vent box unless we were willing to shell out $3000 they quoted. Cost us close to $300 just to get vehicle released so we could take to a dealer that would honor the warranty. Will never consider again for service or when purchasing next vehicle. We had the greatest service at the chrysler dealer just one county to the south where the lifetime warranty was honored without hassle!

I can’t say enough about my experience! I felt like they truly listened to my wants and needs and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and taken care of. From my salesman Dave, on up to the manager and finance, everyone was friendly and truly took the time to get to know me! I left feeling confident in my purchase and the dealership taking care of me.

We had a great experience here! Reserved our Jeep before it even left the factory and it came in looking perfect! Everyone was very kind and helpful, and we got in and out quickly. We never felt pressured into buying more or adding things on that we didn’t expressly want. We also got an amazing rate on our 2023 Wrangler! Thank you guys!

Sales team is great but service center is terrible. Took vehicle in for service, was misdiagnosed, and also told they were unable to do the repairs needed. I don’t think they even looked at my car just didn’t want to do the work, and told me to take it somewhere else. Mechanic was rude, and judgmental, made inaccurate assumptions that had zero to do with the actual issue. Also was told by an employee months after purchase, that my vehicle had known issues when sold. Also chipped the paint on my hood somehow, even though the issue had nothing to do with under the hood, which would of been known had the mechanic just listened to me instead of assuming he knew everything.

Have been taking our vehicles here for 15 years. Never had a problem until this last year. Service has gone downhill. We have had our van in three times for a transmission issue that they say is bc we use the ECO button and won't fix it under warranty. Being without a van for a week at a time is not doable. Was told the manager would talk to the GM about a refund we were promised but still waiting on that phone call to happen (day #3). Was overcharged twice in the same visit. Each time my husband called back to question the amount they lowered it. First quote was $1100 then $800 then was told they owed us $125 more. Were done and will never go back. My in laws also had a major service problem related to brakes.Edit: In response to the GM's response:We have a lifetime powertrain warranty first off so it is under warranty. Secondly, Chrysler said we needed to do a transmission flush bc it was close to service time (if 40,000 miles is close). Third we were told if the flush didn't fix the problem we didn't have to pay anything and it would be replaced. Fourth, Ken, the guy at the service desk, said the problem was the ECO button and we should just drive with it off. We have been driving with it on for 5 years. I drive the van everyday. Slipping gears and jerking is not normal. Telling me this is normal is not ok. Telling me a different price everytime we questioned something is not normal. Telling me to drive with the eco button off so theres no issue isnt normal. The texts your guy sent my husband are not normal. If you would like I could post them also and people could see just how insane this ordeal has been. For your manager to say we would receive a call Monday afternoon after he talked to you but we didn't get one until Wed afternoon after he saw my review speaks volumes. To the credit of the dealership.....we were refunded half of what we paid for parts which is fine bc we did get a flush even if it was 40,000 sooner then needed according to the chrysler maintainence book in the van.The fact you werent in all week nor did you ever call us shows just how much you really do care about your customers. After 15 years, this was a horrific experience and we will never be back.

I can't say enough good about Germain. In the last 23 years I have purchased 6 vehicles from this location. I have purchased new and used. Any time I have had an issue they have always stepped up to the plate. Most of my dealings were with the Dan Hemm dealership. I have purchased 1 new vehicle under the new name Germain. The 1 constant over the years has been Scott Crawford & some of the sales team. I will never purchase a vehicle from anywhere else.

Totally worthless service department. Did more damage than fix. Actually after a 3 hour appointment, 7 hours later, they had fixed nothing ,only lost things. Things they say don't exist. Would recommend no one ever go there for any reason. And as I see I'm not the only one with same results and missing parts "that don't exist " also went to another dealership and all the "problems that needed fixed " was a lie the tech at the other dealership found NONE of those other were an issue!!! Never go to Germain for anything

I have never left a negative review but thought it was important to inform others about my experience. I bought a 2016 Honda Accord Sport from Germain in Sidney, Ohio. I have bought my last four vehicles from dealerships and figured with a big name I could trust them as Paul Sherry has sold me 2 vehicles with no issues, Airport Toyota no issues, and Kings Honda no issues. All vehicles were used, and they did a wonderful inspection and have been great cars. We still own 3 of the 4. We did have 1 experience before the last 4 where we had an issue on the way home and the dealership brought it back in and apologized and fixed it. I never bought a sports car and thought it rode a little louder than my jeep but figured since I was on the ground compared to my jeep that's why. Recently, I was returning from a trip when my car started feeling weird. I got home and took it to the tire shop that I take all my cars to, and they brought me to the back to look at my tires with them. They showed me 1- my tires were 12 years old. 6 years older than my car and 2- the tires were the wrong size for my car. I had a 3-inch crack in my sidewall from the age of the tire. All my tires had deterioration and cracks. I was shown how to read the age and truly inspect a tire. Very thankful! I was also so shaken up as he wouldn't even let me drive away with the front tire and insisted, I get new tires asap. He gave me a spare for the really bad tire and ordered me new ones. I went to Germain to let them know about the tires. First, I talked to my salesman Kyle who pretty much gave me a feeling I was wasting his time even though I said repeatedly I want you to be aware of this and the danger. He said the tires checkout out though inspection they were fine, and you have had the car long enough (which he isn't wrong..months) that doesn't explain why I had the wrong size tire that were 6 years older than my vehicle. The NTSB website states that after 10 years a tire should not even be on a vehicle as it could cause it to blow at high speeds. Whether the tread was good or not the deterioration of rubber after 10 years is not safe. So today I was able to talk to the sales manager Scott Crawford to make him aware. He said the 10 year is a suggestion and others opinion. I bought the car as is and there is no warranty. True I did buy it as is. I honestly even said to Kyle and Scott, I want them to be aware of the danger. I drive my kids and they sold me a car that should have never passed inspection. I asked would sell it again to another family with this issue and put them in Danger? His reply was yes you have my answer. I am a business owner and if there is an issue my first thing is to sincerely apologize to my customer. No that's not what I received from either Kyle or Scott, I received you bought as is your fault and they would sell something again as dangerous as it was. I again am thankful to God for protecting me and my son on our way back from a trip. Please do not buy from this car place if you want safety for you and your family. I don't want anything free from them I wanted them to apologize and be aware of what happened.
