No one minds that I'm not buying big items and they are willing to help me figure solutions out for when I don't know what I'm doing. “Went into Shelby Carter Lumber today. At the counter I was completly taken off guard by the salesman! This Gentelman could not have been more pleasant, friendly and very helpful. Not only that he carefuly offered technical assistace I did not ask for. The fellow saved me an awful lot trouble by offering his expertise on my project! On top of that the wood I purchased was 100% better than the junk I looked at the day before at Lowes and Home Depot. Naturally more expensive but well worth it.”

My daughter and I went in to buy a sheet of plywood and I had to cut the plywood in order to get it into her car. My cordless saw was acting up (user error) and the young guys (I'm sorry, I don't have their names) working here went above and beyond to help us out. My daughter is renovating a house nearby and we'll definitely be purchasing our building supplies here.”
