Matthew Montgomery is the franchise manager at H&R Block Shelby, Ohio location.When I called to make a complaint that my city taxes were not done correctly his excuse was that the tax agent made a “human error” and that everyone makes mistakes. While I’m fully aware that people make mistakes, I would expect a company (that I’m paying hundreds of dollars to do my taxes so I don’t mess them up MYSELF) to double check their work and make sure what they’re filing and sending out is correct.After I stated my opinion to Matthew (if I’m paying for a professional the service should be done correctly), he proceeded to laugh condescendingly, speak over me multiple times, and hang up on me.In summary if you’re looking for a reliable, respectful service I would not recommend the H&R Block in Shelby Ohio.

Matthew Montgomery is the franchise manager at the H&R Block Shelby Ohio location. While I fully understand that people make mistakes, I would expect someone I'm paying hundreds of dollars to provide a service to do it correctly. double, even triple checking their work if need be. after I stated my opinion to Matthew, (that if I'm paying for a service it should be done correctly, I could have messed them up on my own for free), he proceeded to laugh condescendingly, speak over me multiple times, and hang up on me. In summary, if you're looking for reliable and respectful service I would not recommend the H&R Block in Shelby Ohio.
