“NOW I GET IT! First and very important, people like to say the next generation doesn't like to work. In all fairness, we can't glom all young people in this category. I walked in Lil' Chet's to witness a young man vacuuming the floor, a very kind, patient and broad smiling young lady named Grace who wore the business brand well and then a taller, young man at the cash register and three other younger associates all busy at their post. I always thank people who are working these days but I'll go as far to say these associates were raised right. Bravo to whoever hired so many good workers. Now the Chicken. I walk To the back of the store and there it is.....a trove of fried chicken. I can't tell you how many people I know rave about this fried chicken. They say "it's the best around". I have driven past this place so many times, usually with somewhere to go. This time someone took the wheel and steered me straight in their lot. So I go in to see what all the fuss is about. Grace explained the difference of the chicken selection was. Just to sample, I opted for two thighs and one breast for beef and my wife with a side of sweet mustard. Got home to try it....Rats! I should have bought more.... The chicken was done right. Crispy, not greasy. In fact, if I had to rush out of the house, I know I could turn the doorknob with out washing the grease off my fingers. Breasts were not dry, thighs were tender, better than average in size and the mustard dip had a familiar taste to it but just enough off to make me consider it wasn't store bought and repackaged. So NOW I GET IT! What all the fuss was about. I'll be back for sure.”
“Hi. I went to rural king on April 29th 24. I had trouble with a pool. I payed for warranty and they didn't have the same one. I wasn't happy that I had to pay the difference because they no longer have it. After taking apart and bringing up the whole pool so I can get it rectified by myself and daughter the 2 ladies in their helped me! These women worked there but off! These 2 girls had to take all of the heavy stuff out for the customers. I wish I knew there names because they was so kind and was very much over worked. I was there almost 2 hours while These 2 woman worked the whole store ! There was other employees but let me tell you these 2 was above and beyond! They need a vacation and better pay I'm sure! And they including me did what I'm sure a man is being paid for. Lifting very heavy stuff. With no man around to be seen! Except to shut the door after to my truck! I appreciate these 2 because if not I would have been very upset!”

“The store is pretty big with great lighting. It's always clean, and it seem to be pretty well set up for browsing. I often find myself walking out of the store with 2, 3, maybe 4 other items than intended because of the great big isles and casual set up. The staff is always polite, they always greet you when you come in, and say good by when you're leaving. The pharmacy is great. They're always helpful, and super fast, and they always resolve issues when they arise, which isn't often.”
“Clean store band great service. I stopped in yesterday for Polar Pop Diet Dr. Pepper. The fountain dispenser needed refilled. I went to the counter and Heather was returning to it. I mentioned the Diet Dr Pepper and she said she just returned from connecting more. I went back to the dispenser and it was more working! Thanks, Heather!!!”

“Butternut Corners Market is perfect for what it is - a little convenience store on the corner so you don't have to go all the way to the grocery for whatever you need. They have assorted cold drinks (pop, Gatorade, iced tea, energy drinks) and beer, sweet and salty snacks, a deli counter with premade hot/cold sandwiches, household items, grocery basics like milk, butter, cheese, bacon, ice cream, canned goods, even some household cleaning items and a small selection of vegetables. They have an ATM and lottery tickets. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I stop by at least once a week, usually in my pajamas or something crazy, and they never bat an eye. I can't think of anything I would change - maybe ask them to stock G2? Pretty minor. If you see a crazy lady running on no sleep in her pajamas, perhaps with a small child in tow, that's probably me. Feel free to say hi.”

“I've been coming here since I was in high school. It's about 5 mins from my house so I usually get gas and energy drinks here. They have a really cool self pay machine now, you just sit all of your items on a pad and it scans everything at once. This will always be MY gas station lol.”
