First visit was a Sunday. Website and hours listed on door said open Sunday till 5:00p.m. At 3:30, even though signs hanging in windows said "Open", no one was there. Called and left message. The next morning, the manager called back and explained that the person who was supposed to be there didn't show up and she was out of town. Very friendly message.Went back and service was good, very knowledgeable, good products.

I have had several pieces framed here. The manager is wonderful and has an eye for the perfect frame and mat for your piece. That is SO worth paying for. For those who complain about the prices, custom framing is expensive everywhere and always has been. We don't complain about quality furniture or carpets being expensive, but art, which does so much for our well-being when we look at it in our homes, gets undervalued (sad). The beautiful framing options, expertise of the staff, and quality of the workmanship at Frames Unlimited will keep me coming back. I am writing this now because I was looking up their hours to bring a piece there today!

Be VERY careful when doing business here!!! Their prices are egregious !!! I ordered two mats that I asked to be cut. I neglected to ask the price before ordering them thinking how much could they cost? (I had done my own framing years ago and know that the product cost is very little and using my very unprofessional tools it took barely 2 minutes.) My husband picked them up for me and when I looked to see the charge they were $78.54. Can you imagine !!!! I called and spoke with the manager who gave me some guff about how expensive labor it. Right....they have all kinds of professional tools which makes this very fast and inexpensive!!! She offered 10% off which amounted to $7.84. Whoopee! I told her to keep it!

Frames unlimited has been my go to place for framing all of the special moments in my life. They recently did the most outstanding job of shadowboxing some special treasures from the sea that my husband and I found on a recent trip to the Bahamas. I could not have been more pleased with the result, the grouping makes me smile every time I see it. I always bring in the project and just let them work their magic, for over 25 years, they have not failed me once. Highly recommend them to showcase the special moments in your life!

Frames Unlimited did an excellent job framing my two diplomas-- they worked within my budget, had a speedy turn-around (originally told two weeks but it took less than a week), and very friendly customer service (my diplomas were different sizes and the associate went over many options with me). Their pricing was better than what I could find online, and the quality of the frames is far superior!

I have used Frames Unlimited to frame several of my most valued items, and they do not disappoint! They worked with me to design the frame elements, and executed the designs to perfection. Although the cost is sometimes high, it is worth it if you are looking for a high quality frame - they do the job well. They were also willing to modify the frame if a job came out looking differently than I expected.

Frames Unlimited in Shaker Heights has been our go-to framer since a friend went out of the business a long time ago. Each time a trusted individual on the staff has transferred to a different store, we've wondered if the next person would provide the same amount of time and care and the same level of artistic eye to our prints, photographs, paintings, or needlework, and we have never been disappointed. Framing is, unfortunately, very expensive, especially with the best mats and glass, but we feel we get our money's worth and enjoy the results tremendously.
