Just terrible, spent 40 minutes on hold trying to make an appointment to get refitted and then got put on hold again because the person I talked to doesn't know how to update insurance.

They don't send the right equipment, it takes them along time to send the equipment and when you receive it, it's wrong. Does not this company keep records of what your equipment is???? I am so frustrated with dealing with this company! It wasn't this way when it was O.E. Meyers

Good experience. Went in to buy shower chair. Was helped immediately. Type of chair needed was not on display but employee got one from back and fully assembled it for me. Would recommend and patronize again.

Bought a Golden Technologies lift chair from OE Myer in 2014. Had a repair done by the Golden Technologies authorized dealer (OE Myer). Then OE Myer sold the medical division to ProMedica. Had another repair done by the same people as when OE Myer had that division. Now I need another repair done and the Sandusky Ohio facility has been sold to Medical Service Company. The whole set up is horrible, you can't call the Sandusky MSC facility directly. The only way to talk to anyone is to drive there. There is a long story concerning the repair of my Golden Technologies lift chair. All appearances indicate that at one point the ,now MSC, chair mechanic seems to have reinstalled a bolt incorrectly at a previous repair and now they won't fix the chair for "liability reasons". The mechanic damaged the chair and now MSC won't stand behind any previous work. I tried getting help from Golden Technologies but they are distancing themselves from my issue. It wold only cost MSC under $200 to make this right. Apparently MSC would rather lose a $2000 sale of a new chair than to own up to their mistakes.It seems that I have no recourse in this problem. Neither Golden Technologies, manufacturer of the chair, nor Medical Service Company will talk to me. They should be called Medical DISService Company. The people at the Sandusky MSC facility have been very unhelpful in this, especially the mechanic and the manager.

UPDATE: Finally got the contact info of a manager & she was able to put things right. I'm glad I found her & since then I've gotten everthing straightened out. But it should never have come to this in the first place. Still, I'll give them an extra star.=====It's impossible to get them on the phone or by chat. Guess I'll have to go in person. I've been waiting for a new machine for weeks now.

Don't use them! They are very poor at billing; were unable to bill 2nd payer Spent hours on the phone. Don't return phone calls when they say they will. Customer service is poor; way better on Amazon!

Hands down worst company I ever had the pleasure of dealing with! I order my neb kits monthly and am lucky to get them every other month and that is only because I call and order again. I have never dealt with a company that was so incompetent in my life and I am old!

The only reason this is a one star review is because it can’t be a less than one star review! Customer service is HORRIBLE! These people do not care at all about the patients. They are as slow as can be, moving in reverse most of the time. What a shame that another area company sold out to a big corporation that makes it as hard as they can to get any needed medical equipment! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you can avoid it at all!!! HORRIBLE! UNCARING! Bring back OE Meyer, at least Promedica still cared!!! Ugh!

Go Any Place else, Not Here. Poor Customer Service. Most employees do NOT know much or anything at all. Was an ok place before they got bought out. There are many other good Medical Supply Companies in the area, go to them for better service.

I submit a monthly order to the Sandusky, Ohio Promedica facility and have been for years. The woman I most often speak with, Jen, is amazing at her job. I have never had an issue, question or concern that she was unable or unwilling to address. I have dealt with other employees there for various other reasons over the years that have had nothing to do with my standing order and every department, every employee has always been helpful and friendly.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered! Ordered a BPAP machine early in Dec. of 2019 with a prescription. Told them if it wasn't in by the end of the month I'd have to pick it up in March as I was headed to Florida then. It wasn't in by the time I left and when I returned in March I called and they didn't know anything about it. So I started the process again. I told them I was going on Medicare in June so I would like to have it before then so my regular insurance would cover it with no hassles. June rolls around and still no BPAP. Now I have to deal with Medicare who demands a new sleep study. Every time I called ProMedica they acted like they were doing me a great favor and the male on the phone was downright cocky. Once they didn't even know anything about it! Now it's September, I've had the new sleep study and still no BPAP! So I call Firelands Medical Equipment at the end of September and tell them my story. I'm picking up my new BPAP from Firelands Friday!

It took a VERY long time to get billing fixed, only to later find the bill was not at all fixed.
