I paid $68 not including tip for my wife to get gel French tip nails, not even press on. 2 of her toes were crookedly painted, some of them trimmed unevenly as well, she still has some rough patches of callus, and flaking skin on the bottom of her feet that was not properly scrubbed/shaved off. She works on her feet all day and walks a lot so we never expected them to be perfect but for $68 I definitely expected more than just a quick washing and rushed painting. They seemed busy and If they were too busy to take us when we called they should’ve said so. In the end of it all we figured it would just be best to smile and pay to save the argument however we will from now on be going elsewhere or we will stick to doing it ourselves.

Best pedi I’ve ever had, the older gentleman is a pro. I have ugly feet and he transformed them, cleaned, buffed, trimmed- they’re amazing. I’m from Syracuse and I’ll come here every time I visit Sandusky. Thank you Modern nail!
The salon is immaculate and beautiful!

While on vacation, I broke 3 nails on a ride at Cedar Point. I walked into Modern Nails where the nail tech quickly found a matching color and repaired them so I could return to my family. Very friendly staff.

It was so great. The phones were down so me, my mom, and my sister were all walk-ins and even without an appointment they got us all started in 10 minutes. And the art work was amazing for all 3 sets. I highly recommend! Amazing staff!
Cleanliness: Very clean and organized
Stylist: My stylist was Demi and she was an absolute doll. So sweet, very helpful, and she did a great job.

I haven't gotten around to making a review until now, but honestly this is the best nail place i've ever tried in sandusky/fremont areas!!!! they blow it out of the park anytime and everytime i get my nails done. everyone here is extremely professional and take their guests opinions and wants very seriously !!! their prices are extremely reasonable and i highly recommend this experience. Tren is amazing !!! But everyone here is extremely talented and professional so you'll be satisfied either way.

I've gone to Modern Nails for five years. I had trouble with paint peeling, which they rectified. BUT, the last time I went there, they charged me $70 to gel paint my nails. Mind you, they're my natural nails. I did not receive nail repair or fake nails. Shaping and painting that's all. I haven't figured that out yet. They can no longer enjoy my business.

Got my mother and I a pedicure, my mom had hip surgery recently and they were so patient with her, with my mom not being able to reach lower her feet were in bad shape... by the time that lady finished her feet was back cute again. We both got gel polish pedicure and I spent on the both of us $120. A bit pricey but I would go back again.

Modern Nails came highly recommended and now I know why! They were able to accommodate us same day for my daughter before her vacation. They treated her well and were able to BLOW HER MIND with how well the design was done! We will definitely be back
