I do not recommend this place to anybody. Dr McNair is very thorough and great with children. Some of the other doctors we have seen are also great. Most of the rest of the staff is terribly rude. Rude over the phone, and in person. Some of the “nurses” are terrible with children.My son was seen today and needed 2 prescriptions called in at Walmart. I left the office, went to Walmart and waited a bit, checked on the scripts and they had never been sent over. When I called back to check on them, whoever answered the phone was very rude and said she doesn’t call them in until the end of the day. Very inconvenient considering I live out of town, and one script was cough syrup he needed to take. I asked a different person to possibly see if they can send them now so I didn’t have to drive back to town, she said yes. They then sent over the wrong scripts. Very inconvenient and sloppy. I do not recommend this place at all.

WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. A few of the doctor's are great and maybe 2 staff members. The rest of the staff are rude. They are actually allowed to yell at you and hang up and Dr. Mac allows it and will get an attitude as well. NEVER AGAIN

Very pleased with this practice for my two sons. I really trust Dr. Marhefka with their care. The other physicians in this practice that we have seen for sick visits have been great as well!

I have been going here with both my kids for almost 8 years now and it has just gone completely downhill! You literally can NEVER get in contact with the office! I have been waiting for an appointment and seen the nurses purposely ignoring all the phones ringing because they were too busy talking to each other about their personal lives. One time I was at an appt scheduled for 11am, by noon i still hadn't seen Dr Ortiz and I could hear them all laughing and carrying on in a room.. so I go check and they are all having lunch together and completely FORGOT they had patients waiting in a room!!! That was the most unprofessional experience I have ever witnessed at what is supposed to be a pediatrics doctor office!! they need to get their act together and care more about the patients than sitting around gossiping all day! After trying to call again today 7 times and getting no answer, I will be switching my kids drs!

The staff at this office is amazing. They always get my kids in quickly and spend as much time with us as we need. They work with my kids’ individual needs and are very kind and patient.

The doctor's here are great. We switched from an office in louisville to here because the louisville doctor was always out on vacation with no after hours nurses or information. Salem Comprehensive always has someone in the office during the day, and a phone number after hours. (Which is important to us, as our infant had a hydrocele and we were scared out of our wits not knowing what was wrong with him.) There are multiple doctors on site, so if I call needing an appointment for a sick kid, they can always fit us in. And we couldn't be happier with our main doctor. The only real complaint I have is the lack of office personnel. I will have to call multiple times to get through. Not only that, but if you have a morning appointment and are told to schedule to come back, sometimes everyone will be on lunch while you're leaving, meaning you can't schedule when you leave and have to remember to call later.

Both of my boys go there they are very nice and always get you in same day if needed. When other doctors told me there was nothing wrong with my son i went to them and macabobby did exactly what we asked and ran every test possible to make sure our son was ok. They're just great doctors and i will always choose them over any other doc office for my babys.

Terrible staff. Doctors are good but the assistants/nurses are always rude, and seem understaffed and rushed. Called in with a specific doctor order and they wouldn't do what my child needed.
