“It has been a long time since we visited this store. It had become dirty, smelly, and poor quality in merchandise and service. Wow, what a difference! We went in to get a children's recliner. Within minutes of some confusion of where to go, an associate approached us and was so helpful. We got the recliner and a shelf and were so satisfied with product selections and service that we are going back for a TV stand and some other things. The recliner is the perfect size and our granddaughter loves it. This store is convenient and has made a big change to what they were and what staff they had working were amazing. Definitely worth shopping here”

“I recently had a wonderful experience at Dollar General in Minerva, Ohio, that I just have to share. It was clear that these treats had been well-stocked and properly stored, as they were exactly what we needed to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat.

“Very pleasant & very informative when u ask them about any product. Whenever I've asked anything of them about a product or if i was searching for a specific item, they really try to give u the correct information or will make the effort 2 find out for you and the manager was working at the cash register & even discounted an item for me due to damage when hadn't even asked them to. it was the last one so I was buying it anyway! I really didn't mind either the damage didn't hurt what was on the inside of it! Lol! It was a kind gesture though so u see they were also very thoughtful was my point.”
“Darn, I love this store strip steaks, so cheap, lovely help. Alot more stock. 1 restroom, not handicap accessible . Doors OK and parkingIf you get lucky, you won't have to pay a quarter for a cart . “This new location here on South chapel is very close to where I live I pop in there three possibly four times a week since it's opened and the store always looks great and the people are always helpful and from my experience that's a rarity when it comes to Dollar general stores”
“Marc's in Alliance, Ohio is my go-to spot for all my shopping needs! The store is always well-stocked with great deals, and I love that I can find everything from groceries to home goods in one place. The staff is friendly and helpful, making my shopping experience smooth every time. The prices are unbeatable, especially in the closeout section. However this place only has self checkout, plus in the spot they put it, it's very difficult to unload and load groceries, and sadly there are only two of them so you have to wait in line for self check out, while there're two staff members perfectly capable of running two checkouts just standing around awkwardly. Not their fault though it's the person who came up with that idiotic idea. Other than that, this place is a great place to go shopping.”
