Great owner and great staff! I would highly recommend anyone to take their dogs there for boarding or any related pet needs!

Very nice people. They charge a reasonable price to give my dog Molly her "mani-pedi". They have a great selection of treats too!

First time going to get my yorkie groomed here and they cut her to look like a schnauzer dog which I’m very upset about. I was expecting her to be cut down short but not to look like another breed. will not be coming back again

My wife's review wouldn't post, so editing mine with her details below:Want to preface this that I am not one for lengthy/negative posts, but this one needs to be out there...Our family recently had an unfortunate experience with K-9 Kingdom (Richmond Heights, OH-- not the NJ location). I am writing a negative review to share our experience and hopefully prevent others’ pets from negligence. We did research before choosing K-9 Kingdom a few years ago and had a few personal recommendations. It seemed like a reputable and safe place to leave our goldendoodle while we were away.We went away for an extended weekend over the 4th of July. The last day of our trip out of state, we received a voicemail from the kennel informing us that our goldendoodle had been bit by another dog. We were told that our dog was administered “first aid” and then returned back to group play after a brief separation. We had to request documentation/photo evidence of the bites (which ended up being several punctures and lacerations), we asked them that they take him to the vet next door to get examined by a professional, and we had to demand that they isolate our dog from the other animals for the remainder of his stay.*What should have been a standard protocol for a bite incident, wasn’t a consideration for K-9 Kingdom. After cutting the vacation short to urgently return home same day, my husband arrived at the kennel and was shocked to see the condition our dog was in. He is a large goldendoodle with a thick coat, which made it almost impossible to see the extent of his injuries before he went to the vet to get examined/shaved. He had multiple injuries and was clearly scared. There was no apology from the staff, over the phone or in-person at pick up. They failed to properly supervise the dogs and had allowed them to interact without proper precautions or vetting other dogs behavior prior to group play. Most worrisome, they failed to provide proper medical care (until we demanded it), as our dog clearly needed professional medical attention and antibiotics due to the bite(s).While I appreciate them paying for the vet bill (which the owner initially stated was “unnecessary”), it does not change the fact that my dog suffered physically and emotionally because of their negligence on handling the situation.Accidents happen, but how they handled the entire situation and care afterwards was despicable. The kennel’s lack of compassion and care for our goldendoodle was inexcusable. Had we not advocated for him (while out of state) to be seen by a professional, further infections could have developed. Had we not requested he be removed from group play, another bite could have occurred.I strongly advise pet owners to think twice before entrusting their beloved furbabies to K-9 Kingdom. We are still having follow up appointments with our current vet to monitor his wounds, continue additional antibiotics, and administer laser treatments to encourage healing, blood flow, and new skin growth.Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing and traumatic for us and our dog. I hope that by sharing our story, others may find another kennel where their dog is prioritized and treated as a family member instead of as income for K-9 Kingdom.

They are very good with our dog, they are not over crowded like many of the others we have seen

I am absolutely appalled at what I just witnessed. I was next door at the Vet hospital . While getting out of my car, the gentleman was yelling at these poor dogs. I was able to see through the wooden fence and he was picking up the dogs (he was yelling at) in not a nice way. After my appointment , as I walking back to my car, it was the same thing. Lots of yelling. Do NOT send your dog here. No day care no overnights.
