Paws Awhile is an absolutely amazing facility. The staff is wonderful. They handle the loss of a loved family member (Boris) with dignity and respect. I am very happy with their compassion and their work.

We used Paws Awhile through our veterinarian after we lost our dog. We did the private cremation and it was quick and very nicely done.

I just returned from picking up our rescue dog's remains from the vet, but was so disappointed to discover that her dog tags were missing. A call to Paws Awhile indicated that because I didn't specify that I wanted the dog tags, they were destroyed. How unfortunate!!

So even though you think you're ready for the inevitable. I certainly thought I was but was far from it. Gizmo & I had 14 great years together and I am thankful that Paws Awhile was there. Gizmo left on a Sunday morning and Paws Awhile opened for us, even though they are closed on Sunday's.The remains were sent to our local vet to save us from traveling back out to Richfield. We received the paw impressions in a nice wooden case and I could not have asked for more. Very happy with their services.

At the most difficult time for us, taking our dog for cremation, Paws Awhile was wonderful. They were compassionate and patient...ultra professional. Michelle and Olivia are very impressive people and so comforting. They made us feel like family.

I can't say enought good things about Paws awhile. I recently had to let go not of just one of my furry sweet friends but the next day another. They have been my best friends! The 2 pups came as rescues together, my mom had a sweet shelty heidi and I was blessed with the most beauitful little westie Lilly. There deaths were so difficult, but Michelle at the facility was as kind as it gets. They were efficient, yet kind. My vet said my beloved pets would be wrapped in plastic and put in a freezer till all were picked up on friday! Yikes! Paws a while took my beloved friends right away, no freezer no plastic wrap. They have been a wonderful comfort. 5 star for sure!

I use Paws Awhile for my pet boarding and dog grooming needs and cannot recommend them enough. The treatment my pets receive is wonderful and I can leave them there with the confidence knowing they are well cared for and attended to.
