The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! To the extremely kind and generous customer that was in the store, I can't thank him enough. He bought my grandson some shoes that I couldn't buy. Generous act of kindness from that gentleman is so very appreciated! Many blessings to him and to City Gear staff.

Walked in with my family after buying a toy for our 4 year old next door we Didn’t even get greeted when we walked in the elderly lady (maybe 60) behind the counter said bring your bag and leave it on the counter. I asked why she said it's policy. I asked where is the policy posted she said it’s not for you it’s for us. So of course there’s no real “policy” we came to shop and apparently they don’t trust black families or they don’t like shoppers. Make it make sense. Of course I refused to leave my bag with the nasty lady. She then told us we needed to leave. No wonder the store was empty. All she had to do was put her cellphone down long enough to ask us what we were looking for and helped find us it. (Standard Customer Service) Way easier than to insult someone with a fake policy because you don’t feel like helping them and you’re worried about theft well apparently not for her. Do better you’re setting a bad example for the young lady that was working with you.

I don't know if it was because it was the end of the night or what, but the service was pretty bad. Everyone was standing around talking. Seemed like some of the people at the front had friends hanging out with them. Granted, they bought a thing or two, but you could hear their conversations across the store.
One of the ladies yelled at my 4 year old because he touched 3 pairs of boots. He turned them a different way from the original setup. This was fixed within seconds. He wasn't throwing them across the store either.
This made me want to leave and put my nearly 300 dollars in product back on the shelves.

I visit this location at least once a week. It’s a hit or miss with there women gear! Im a big nike fan, so I most often by leggings and biker shorts here, but sometimes there selection is slim. But over a good store to grab a pair of shoes or fit when on the go.
