Hello! Just writing this to maybe save another couple from H&R Block. We went in 2023 to file for 2022, Joseph sheets from there said we owed $3000! I said there’s no way. We don’t have kids and no 1099’s, no businesses. So we put them on hold. By 2024 we needed to file both 2022 and 2023. We were terrified to go back to H&R Block. So we’ve been looking around, we found someone and she is amazing! She isn’t taking new clients or id def refer her. She did all 3 years for us… 2022 we owed $261. Ended up getting two nice returns for the other two years. I’m not sure where Joseph got $3000 from. He probably shouldn’t be hitting his weed pen at his age while on the clock. He had it hanging out of his pocket our entire appointment. He was an older gentleman. He had previously did 8 years worth of my taxes and now I’m just wondering how badly he messed those up?! When we went to Sign our papers our names were completely wrong. Both my husbands and mine, when we pointed it out he said it was fine and to still sign. We refused and left. We called up to get our w2s from them to take them somewhere else and they “couldn’t find our folder” but when I called back and pretended to make an appointment a week later they had our folder? I would not trust these people as far as I could throw them.

I want to start off by saying that I didn’t not get service from them. When I called to make an appointment the woman who answered the phone was very professional and helpful. Everyone was very kind but, the wretched smell that came from one of the them was so offensive that I had to leave. I didn’t want to be rude but hygiene is important in a professional setting. I gave two stars because everyone was very kind.

Never again will we ever file with H&R Block we had to pay $400 and sum odd dollars to file with H&R Block and it’s been over a month and we still haven’t received our refund I want my money back for filing with H&R Block their liars told me and my wife they would give us an advance on our refund and didn’t!!!! DO NOT FILE WITH H&R BLOCK THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY ARE DISHONEST

I'm so disappointed and upset. I've been doing my taxes with this H&B for 3 years and each time I've filed I was told I didn't owe anything. Well come to find out, I've owed the last 3 years of filing with them from one screw up to another on the agents part. I never received a letter, never was aware I owed anything to the IRS til this year. I've been on the phone for hours with the IRS getting the run around, directed to here and there. I'm so pissed and disappointed, this was a big set back for me and my family but Karen will get her $400 dollars for MESSING UP! Great Job Karen!I will never come here again!

You originally sent my check to the wrong address. Let's just make sure next time that we verify with the customer before you go pushing enter. It took me 6 months to get it which caused me HUGE issues but I thank you for helping me find out what happened just please take your time and don't do it again next time please
