Great 18 hole putt putt course. Lots of water features. You'll need a couple extra balls because they seem to gravitate to the water. Lots of fun for the whole family. Interesting cave tours available that are worth taking. Steep steps to get down and slippery spots in the cave itself. I recommend wearing shoes (eventhough the staff say sandals are okay) especially if you're not sure-footed.

Popular spot for families with small children. Cave experience was pretty cool, but rather short (20 minutes) for the price. Mini-Putt course looked like a lot of fun with recently upgraded artificial turf. There is a small car museum which was fascinating. The gift shop was relatively expensive compared to other similar shops (especially for the mining bags) and the associated gem stones.

I’ve loved this place since I was a kid! Great mini golf course with tons of interesting facts about Perry/The Battle of Lake Erie. The cave is really amazing, and the underwater lake is a must-see. Great little gift shop too.

It is a wonderful place to spend a good portion of your day. The put put is a beautiful course that has a few easy holes, but all in all, it will challenge anyone with its more difficult holes and water traps with some hidden passage ways along the way. The cave tour is expertly guided and provides great pieces of history about the island, its natives and the war of 1812. Other attractions are there as well!

My husband and I was just there today with our one year old and our six year old. Let me tell you I really hope the woman who works there knows how I appreciated her today. My son has ADHD he gets a little rambunctious it's something he can not help I never told this woman this, but she was so remarkably kind and patient with him almost like she knew. She made the whole trip and experience worth it. He had so much fun even with some of his own minor issues. The ladies at the butterfly house was even very kind. Overall, if you have a child who has a biological condition and you have a hard time taking them to places don't be afraid to bring them here, we did every activity other than mini golf and our son had a great time! Thank you again

A great retreat for the family but most of all the kids. The butterfly house is an interesting exhibit for the older family members. The Fort Maze is our favorite exhibit. If your able to beat the maze in 5 minutes or less the kids get prizes. The putt-putt course is fun and has some better than most obstacles. The cave has a neat history.

Mini Golf was fantastic! We play Mini Golf at many places around the United States and this was a well kept course with many different types of holes. Some easy, some difficult, some you may loose your ball in water! Overall a great experience with beautiful scenery.

The mini golf here was quite fun to do. This may be because I have visited much bigger caves, but the cave tour was extremely short. Once you walk into the cave, you've seen basically all that there is to see.

The cave was small, but cool to see. For the price not bad! However- our tour guide was so rude. It just ruined it for us and put a terrible taste in our mouths. We had a young teen boy. He would unenthusiastically tell us the information, ask if we have questions, and then when someone asked a question he made fun of them. Seemed totally bothered. They need to do a serious training with their tour guides or they'll lose customers.

Perry's Cave is my kids (age 8 and 12) favorite spot at Put-in-Bay due to the gem minning and the overall atmosphere. You can buy a bag for $12, $15, $30, or $50.00 inside the store. Then you will go outside to the running water and find the hidden rocks when the sand is sifted away. I bought the $15.00 for each kid and they received a good amount of stones/quartz. You can view in the photo the approximate amout of rocks from one bag laying out on the wood. There is a challenging 18 putt putt golf course with landscaped trees and waterfalls. There are benches for a break if needed throught the course. There is a combo pack to participate in various things to do at this spot (does not include gem minning). The cave is also located here too with a wealth of history to go along with it. The steps to go down are steep and it is a lot cooler down there. I HIGHLY SUGGEST if you are interested in going down into the cave, immediately check the next available time you can enter the cave. We arrived at 1:30p and the next opportunity to go down into the cave was 3:30p. This way you can choose to buy your ticket and enjoy the rest of the activities at Perry's Cave or return at a later time (or skip the cave like we did). At this same location is the Butterfly House. It is kept at 90 degrees just an FYI and your time inside is unlimited. You can also step back in time and view old cars in a builing for free...... On another note, our routine is to arrive at Put-in-Bay by the Jet Express around lunch time. It docks down town near a shadded park area for the kids, photo below (with a public bathroom). I pick up a large thin crust cheese pizza from Cameo Pizza for $19 and all 4 of us eat it in the park at a pinic table. This is a thrify way to go with a beautiful view and the kids can play at the park at their leisure. Check prices online for various activities to do here before you arrive. The internet is not the greatest on the Island. I highly suggest screen shooting a map of the Island before you arrive so you may refer back to it on your phone. On the average a 4 seater golf cart is $15 an hour while a 6 seater cart can be $20 an hour. Some places offer Dailey rates, I got a 6 seater (the extra room is nice especially to put a cooler or backpack on) all day for $80.00 Next to Cameo pizza. A helpful tip, when my kids were younger I would take our vehicle across by the Miller Ferry. This way if the weather wasn't the greatest, I never had to worry about it. Plus it was a quiet environment for the little ones to take a nap.

A little pricey for what you get and a bit of a tourist trap, but also terrific family experience. A lot to do all in one location. We bought a pass and did almost everything from the cave, butterflies, miniature gold, gem mining. We all had a blast.

Great little escape from the summer heat! It was informative, the cave is amazing, staff are very friendly, and they have a neat gift shop for everyone. Lots of attractions around as well such as a maze, rock wall, minigolf, and a place to an your own gold.

The cave tour is a nice short excursion and a very different environment. The mini golf course is fun, too!
