“Great folks, I ran a truck out of fuel and called them not really knowing where I was exactly. Described my surroundings and they told me they would be on the way. Took just over an hour, to get fuel and then find me. I thought that was pretty good when you're sitting on the side of the road watching traffic go by. He put fuel in and after some sputtering, I was on my way again. He said he brought tools just in case. He could have charged me anything, really taken advantage, but was very fair and reasonable. “I feel compelled to take the time to express my gratitude over the kindness that the people at A-1 Wrecker in Barboursville showed my daughter during a difficult moment for her this weekend. She was traveling alone from college in Kentucky, home to Maine, and encountered a flat tire on the highway in Barboursville. I called various wreckers and got nowhere, until I called the kindest woman at A-1 Wrecker Service. She sent a wrecker out to my daughter and even told me the best place to get a new tire. A-1 Wrecker had someone out to my daughter within 15 minutes!From our daughter's frightened call to being back on the road took only 1.5 hours (shout-out to the amazing NTB in Barboursville, as well!), which is simply amazing.When Sara got home, she said that she had encountered the nicest, kindest people that she had ever met, so I really wanted to thank you all.Thank you for taking care of our girl when she needed it.
