We started Teaching Tree in September of 2022 after our beloved in home daycare unexpectedly had to close. I was nervous to try a new daycare as our old one was the only we knew and my girls were very comfortable there. Today I can happily say I’m thrilled with the decision we made in switching our girls to the Teaching Tree. My oldest daughter is particularly shy and reserved, so I was very nervous on the impact this change would have on her and I cannot speak highly enough of how well the teachers and staff handled the transition for her. They were incredibly patience and understanding and today, both my girls run into the girls and can’t wait to go! I’ve also been so impressed with how much both girls have learned in such a short amount of time. It’s very difficult to find childcare that you trust and I’m so glad I’ve trusted the Teaching Tree with my girls- I highly recommend them if you’re looking for childcare! Ps- special shout out to Miss Jessi- she is my favorite person on the planet and my youngest daughter adores her!

Our daughter goes to teaching and we have absolutely loved our experience!! Starting in the older infant room, Miss Jenny and her team Exude kindness and happiness every day at drop off and pick up. In the toddler room Miss Armela and the other teachers are providing great lessons that are carrying over into our home. Excited to see the continued development and education our child is experiencing. Highly recommend!

We love the Teaching Tree! Our kids have been attending for 4 years and love going every day. All the teachers are wonderful and really care about your child. I love that it’s all inclusive and you don’t have to bring a single thing, it helps so much on busy mornings.

My three children have been at Teaching Tree for about a year and a half. The staff is great. Our kids are well cared for and happy while they’re there. The facility is clean, and there are plenty of fun activities. There really is nothing but good things to say about Teaching Tree and the staff, despite the recent cackling and one star reviews left by a couple of social media warriors who think they are making a difference by sharing their opinion about an isolated incident that didn’t involve them, or their children.

Having scouted more than 5 other schools around the area I was very happy to choose The Teaching Tree, we recently moved from overseas and I was determined to find the perfect fit for my boy to help with the transition. The rooms are big, their menu is varied and nutritious (which is included in the fee) and the teachers are great, it just has a nice homey feeling being family owned, they decorate outside seasonally as you would you own house! Their outdoor play area is great, facilities are clean and very well maintained. My boy struggle with having to start preschool as he never been in such setting and communicating with his teacher about how he was doing and how he was feeling during those first few weeks was nice and easy and she really listenned, he loves going there now and I can definitely see the progress he has made from knowing nothing of letters and numbers to be able to tell recognise them and so much more! I cannot recommend it enough ??

My child has been apart of the Teaching Tree family for 4+ years now, and we are truly thrilled that we selected this establishment. There were (are) multiple options in Powell to consider for your daycare needs, but something about the intimacy of having a family owned institution rather than a chain daycare truly spoke to us. Our daughter has thrived in this school; from nursery moments, to potty training (did I mention they fully potty trained her?!), to now in her pre-school days where she is coming home reading us books and telling us stories, we continue to be just as happy today as the day we selected this facility. Thank you, Teaching Tree, for everything you have done for our child, and our family!

We love The Teaching Tree! We have been coming here for 5 years and currently have a PreK and a toddler enrolled. Our 8-year-old already went through the PreK, Kindergarten Enrichment, and Before/After Care program, and we could not have been more pleased. Love the fact that meals are included (they have even got our children eating vegetables at home ?). The teachers and staff treat our children like family of their own. The office staff have always been flexible with scheduling, especially in the summer. We would never think of sending our kids anywhere else.

We love sending our 6 month old daughter here! The teachers are so kind and caring. They always clearly communicate anything we need to know about our daughter. I love that they have cameras to check in on her and have an app to provide updates through the day. I have watched our daughter on the camera have a complete melt downs and they have shown nothing but love and patience. She’s always smiling when we drop her off and pick her up and loves it here!

Amazing teachers who are very engaged and loving with each child. Teaching tree is responsive to feedback and communicates very well with parents. Our kiddo loves going each day and we love the parents night out events each month!!

We recommend The Teaching Tree! If there's ever a question or concern, the teachers and administrators are willing to help and make sure you're comfortable. There is an engaging curriculum for all ages. The owner and administrators are hands-on, which shows. They not only care about the kids, but also the community, doing donation drives and things for others in the community.

My granddaughter goes to Teaching Tree and what a great daycare and preschool. Whenever I drop her off or pick her up she has a smile on her face. It is a very clean and safe place for the children. The staff is very caring and have wonderful activities.

We love Teaching Tree! Our kids have gone here for over 5 years now and we are thrilled with the level of attention and love they receive. The kids LOVE being at school and learn so much! Bonus that all meals are provided!

The teachers and administrators take a lot of pride in their work, truly love the kids, and it shows. Food is provided (huge plus) and it's all organic.The owner, Kari, has worked hard to make it a great place to work to retain staff. Despite an unfortunate circumstance earlier in the year, she used the situation to make the school better and safer, involving the local PD to implement various safety procedures and protocols. Sometimes bad situations lead to positive changes and outcomes and this was one of those!It really is a great school!

All three of my grandchildren (6, 4 and 1) are lovingly cared for by the excellent teachers at the Teaching Tree. I would highly recommend this care center for anyone looking for a place to entrust their children during their work day.
