Powell Jewelers is wonderful for repair work. After 20 years my wedding bands were in desperate need of repairs. I originally took my rings to Zales on Polaris. They wrote up my rings work order and shipped them off to a third party vendor for repairs. Estimated cost 1500. I get a call from Zales telling me they couldn’t do the work-their jeweler was not comfortable fixing the bends, replacing or repairing prongs-the whole thing-so I go pick them up. I was not provided much context regarding the abilities of the jeweler and they couldn’t answer any of my questions regarding why my ring was risky.
So, I set out looking for a small, private shop with a vision of a jeweler in the back-if it even existed in this day and age. And guess what? I found that here!!!! Long story short-they fixed my rings (onsite!) plus more AND is was LESS than half of the cost at Zales! Amazing craftsmanship and customer service! I’m super happy! If you need something fixed-this is the place. Thanks Powell jewelers!

I needed a jeweler that could do repairs on my older Citizen Eco-drive watch. When I called the clerk advised me to “jump start” it by placing it in direct sunlight for a couple of days then reset it. It worked. My watch works like a charm. I stopped in to thank them and showed my watch. The same clerk offered to fix and clean my band for a very reasonable price. It looks like new. Wonderful service.

Paula and Jim take the jewelry shopping experience to the next level!! I cannot even begin to describe how excited I am to write this review! I took my wedding set, a family heirloom, to get repaired. Jim and Paula are amazing to work with! They worked with me to determine the best way to repair for what I wanted. There was no pressure, and honestly, really nice conversation! Birdie greeted me today when I went to pick up my ring! Everything was perfect! The craftsmanship was impeccable! I could not have asked for a better experience, from estimate to pick up. Thank you, Jim and Paula, you have gone above and beyond! If you are wondering if you should go to Powell Jewelers, the answer is yes!

Jim is the kindest guy and an excellent jeweler! When my husband proposed in 2018 he found me this beautiful and unique art deco filigree piece. At the time I wasn't sure of my ring size and he got me a 4 although it's a 3.5. For years I have been wearing a bumper on it so it fits, which I know that sounds ridiculous to wear a bumper for so long but time just got away from me. Unfortunately the band on the back started to wear and I became worried it would break. I brought it in to a few local jewelry stores and they were afraid to add a shank and resize due to the delicate nature of the ring but Jim not only agreed to do it but he was so friendly, and seemed invested in the process! Pricing was very reasonable, service was fast, and my ring looks as good as new! Thank you so much!

I love Powell Jewelers!! They are so personal and I feel like I am a “special customer” every time I go there instead of just a random customer. Paula and Jimmy are so accommodating and I never feel pressured. I have gotten my last 4 wonderful rings there and I love each one. Their selection is so unique that other stores don’t have (for my style). I also go there to get any jewelry fixed! They are my one and only jeweler place.

I just had the BEST first visit (of hopefully many) to Powell Jewelers. I had a very sentimental and precious piece of jewelry with a broken clasp. I walked in and Jim was able to fix it while I waited. He was a joy to talk to - kind and funny. And the work he did was meticulous. Added bonus: a shop dog named Birdie! I highly recommend Powell Jewelers!

Jim & Paula are Absolutely Wonderful! I started going to Powell Jewelers in 2014. My wedding ring needed a repair and I had gone to many Jewelers but they didn't even want to attempt the repair, thankfully Jim listened to me on how important my ring was to me and how much I wanted the repair done. Jim agreed to fix it and said it would not be easy but he Fixed It!!! I couldn't be happier with his work! Absolutely amazing! Very skilled at what he does. Jim has helped me multiple times with all my Damaged rings bringing them back to life and shinning them up before he returns them to me always shinning and more gorgeous than I dropped them off. Not only is he very skilled and very experienced but he is very kind. I will always go to Jim for all my repair needs.

had a white gold ring made for my husband and it tarnished after 2 months. it looks terrible. certainly not what I paid for! attitude of shop owner utterly disgusting....will never recommend

Stopped here to have the straps of my watch replaced. The first time I went in I was told I'd have to purchase the straps elsewhere because the design was unique -- was no problem at all. Went back once I got the straps and had not only the straps replaced, but the battery fixed. The owners are extremely welcoming and welcoming, and didn't make me feel weird for only bringing in a watch. I was also on a time crunch to have the watch finished, but they were able to have it ready by the end of the day. If you need your watch repaired, I highly recommend Powell Jewelers!
