Great park. We usually have a picnic, go on a little walk, then let the little one play on the playgrounds.

Love this park! We walk there a lot. Great trails. They have a picnic area and some are covered. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. The playground has swings and monkey bars to climb. Everything is well maintained.
With its tall trees, wetlands, pond and meadows, beautiful Emily Traphagen Park provides a respite from the suburban development around it. The park, with its proximity to the Scioto River, attracts waterfowl, such as mallards, kingfishers, wood ducks and great blue herons. At times, you may spot many white-tailed deer that call this park home. Watch for woodland wildflowers in the spring, and Queen Anne's lace and other meadow flowers in the summer.
