I am not sure where we would be with out Best Friends. Our dog Darwin started having seizures in January, out of the blue, which is incredibly scary. They are so kind and put up with all of my frantic phone calls. I'm pretty sure every doc there has been a part of Darwin's treatment which is still on going. They have helped us so much!! The front office staff, techs, and doctors are just phenomenal. I highly recommend taking your pets here!

I have been a client for 30 plus years. That alone should stand as an amazing review itself. Dr Rex Riggs and all of the team ( special shout out to Jill) are top notch. I have had several pets over the years. They have welcomed and loved them with me and shared tears when they were at life end. They are family and thank you is not enough.

I can't say enough about this place... Saturday morning around 10:00AM it was clear our dog needed help. There were no signs of an issue at Midnight the previous evening. Not knowing where to turn I called Best Friends. We were in an exam room by 10:40. After an initial evaluation and an X-Ray we knew... we weren't taking our dog home. The staff was amazing, they explained all the options to us (we can do further testing to confirm, we can do surgery, we can do...). They also gave an honest assessment of life expectancy and quality with the options. They weren't just going through a decision tree... Once we made the decision to put our dog out of her pain they waited for our family to arrive so we could all say goodbye. While heartbreaking, the process was gentle and kind. If we are ever in need of Vet services in the future, this is where we will go. Thank you!

All the staff always make me and my three pups feel welcome and comfortable. My oldest dog, Itchy, has fear aggression and they are always so patient and caring with him. It is obvious how much they care about their furry visitors. Itchy, Tobey, and Duncan will be forever clients with Best Friends! ❤️

Can't say enough about care and compassion Dr. Riggs and Dr. Baltzell and Best Friends staff provided when Hogan our boxer was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy a terrible ALS like disease in canines. Honest, informative, in explaining the disease, course of care, and realistic with the eventual outcome and timeline.If you're looking for a vet in Powell, please do your pet and yourself a favor and visit Best Friends, the name identifies what I truly believe their mission is in caring for your "best friend"
