“Talk about a treasure hunt. Reasonable prices and we got a bundle deal on a few items as well. Football jerseys to Greek dolls to bourbon decanters. They have everything.”

“Atmosphere and ownership is great. I visited A Gal Named Cinda Lou a couple of weeks ago, and was excited to find a copy of Hozier's albums on vinyl. Many other great options. My wife and I really enjoyed the conversation with the owner, and we took the time to enjoy a Coke from the classic Coke machine in the back. Fantastic experience.”

“We love picking here. There is always something I can't live without here. They even have auctions once a month. There are a couple of buildings to look through. Kathy and Jim are very friendly. We'll worth the trip.”

“So much of everything and fun to peruse. Don’t be afraid to make an offer especially the 10-20% variety. I got a fantastic deal as the shipping for these things are great but not the kind of great this Santa IS:)”

“I visited Elm and Iron Clintonville, 3475 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus, on 11-24-2023. I have often walked past there while on my way somewhere else; I decided to actually visit there on the day after Thanksgiving.Elm and Iron Clintonville sells high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor. They have been at their Clintonville location since 2012; they now also have a location at Easton Town Center and a warehouse [open Monday-Friday by appointment only] in Grandview.I had been greatly impressed by the quality of the merchandise that is for sale at Elm and Iron and the high-quality way in which that merchandise is displayed.I had visited there at dusk; the several photographs that I had taken while I had been there had been quite dramatic because of the quality of the light that had been coming in through the windows. The building in which Elm and Iron is housed had been built in 1929 to be a new location for a business in downtown Columbus whose main purpose had been to sell automobile tires. The Clintonville location of that business, according to a 1929 article in The Columbus Dispatch, offered complete motor car service. It is obvious, when looking at the architectural style of the Elm and Iron building, that that building had been constructed for a business whose main purpose would be to repair cars.If you are looking for some high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor, I strongly recommend Elm and Iron.”

“I've bought a couple of nice things here, like a large late 1800s Jacobian chest. Not the highest end selection, but you can find the occasional gem if you're persistent.”

“Great antique store. The setup of the place like other reviewers have said is not tidy but it adds to the charm and the overall shopping experience. The store owner is also very kind and nice to talk to.”

“I have worked with Jon, the owner, over the past 2 years for several complex clocks. His knowledge of clocks is amazing. He is always professional and personable. He is punctual and detail-oriented. He does a wonderful job, and his prices are reasonable. I rarely write reviews, but I believe Jon deserves a great one!”

“I came here with my husband and daughter - I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews that the place was no longer cool and way overpriced. I am a huge thrift shop junkie, and visit thrift shops every single weekend. This is not a place where there’s going to be a bin of random junk to sort through that’s all under $10. But it is also not flower child where every single item is completely out of price range. I would say it’s somewhere in between the two. This place is filled with curiosities and eclectic items in a way that looks like basically every must have item you’ve ever found in a thrift store but all in one place. If nothing else is just extremely interesting to look around at all of the interesting things, and while it looks small when you first go in, it’s kind of a labyrinth throughout the whole place. There’s a lot of interesting items, and I managed to buy multiple things without breaking the bank. I would not go into this place as though it’s a cheap thrift shop, but I also wouldn’t go into it thinking it’s an extremely expensive and not cool place. I never went before when it was different management as some reviews have suggested. Both the people interacted with were extremely kind and nice. The place was very cozy and easy to navigate and it was very clean. It was obvious that it was very curated and there was really cool things kind of everywhere. Both my husband and I enjoyed walking around for about an hour or so and felt like we still didn’t see everything. If you’re someone that’s a collector, it’s a must stop place.”

“Loved this hidden gem! They had a great assortment of decor and we were able to find some amazing deals after Christmas. I'd much rather shop local and support these businesses than buy similar things at big box stores. Prices were honestly very reasonable to begin with, but they were also offering 30% off on a variety of merchandise. Very friendly and great customer service. Wrapped up all our fragile items nicely. We'll be back!”
