Great place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Doctor was knowledgeable. The prices were decent. The hours are good and it is one of the few offices open on a Saturday.

Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills goes above and beyond to help take care of our cats, especially Loki who has been sick. Dr. Jake has been incredibly helpful, informative, and caring. He goes out of his way to check in and make sure that Loki is doing okay, and always finds time to squeeze Loki in for the care he needs. We are also so thankful for all of the support staff and the rest of the team at the clinic who are always kind and helpful. Thank you!!

When we moved to Marysville late last year, we needed a new vet for our husky girl. Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills has met and exceeded our expectations. They are great!

This vet use to be the best in town. About three years ago everything’s changed. They cannot keep staff and no longer care about animal care. Now all they care about is gouging customers pocketbook and animal safety is secondary. I beg you to look at the other 10 vets around. Better patient care and less than half than what you would pay here.

When i rescued my pup 10 years ago he was already seen here a few times, so i felt obligated to continue to use the clinic. Typically id read reviews, and find the best place for him. To say we got lucky and hit the lottery is an understatement. My boy has had more than his fair share of issues over the years, every time I'm overly impressed with how they help us. Ive had a technician drop off meds at my house on her way home, i had a doctor come in after hours on a weekend when my boy was hurt, and the list goes on a on. It has a family feel and everyone you work with will give you that type of help and attention. With everything that has happened with my boy, he could be in a lot worse shape or not with us anymore. I feel confident in saying, the Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills has saved his life and given him good quality years. Thank you!

We visited Shawnee Hills Animal Hospital for 1 year, and moved our 2 cats and 2 dogs to this practice from another one nearby. We had the pleasure of working with Dr. Bridget Bickers, and all was fine... that is until Dr. Bickers left the practice. We weren't alerted to to the fact she left, and care left with her. I visited the hospital one time after, in the spring of 2024 and saw a traveling vet. It was not a pleasant meeting, I didn't appreciate the encounter and thought it odd my doctor left and they now have substitute vets? What's up with that. I was told that at the end of current prescriptions, which my geriatric dog needs many for food and medicine, he would have to be evaluated by someone else. Basic prescriptions for an insulin dependent dog of age 13, seems rather harsh, unkind and strange enough, I am in the process of moving all of my pets to another vet practice that cares about my pets. I don't know what is going on within Shawnee Hills Animal Hospital that my veterinarian would leave... This place is a wreck.

We live in the Pittsburgh area and were looking for a USDA Health Certification for our pet to be able to travel with us internationally. We called several places in our area with no luck or interest in a vet being able to help us with the filing to the USDA. We found the Animal Hospital of Shawnee Hills (Columbus, Ohio) online and called and Molly, their Compliance Officer & Scheduling Coordinator for pet international travel, detailed exactly what needed to be done and when. She was so incredibly helpful in the preparation and filing that we would not have been able to do it without her and her enthusiasm for helping people and their pets. We drove to Columbus for a vet checkup and their staff and vets were fantastic.
If you need a USDA Heath Certificate for your pet's International travel, this place is the place to call. I give my most enthusiastic recommendation!

We recently moved from the US to England, and Molly was amazing in helping us get our two cats ready for the journey. We were transporting them ourselves, with them flying in the cabin with us, so we had to detour through France. This meant two of all the paperwork, and lots of questions from us! We also were already in England when they needed their health check so my parents had to take them to the appointment. Molly answered everything in detail, organized everything, and put our minds at total ease, especially since we weren't there at the actual appointment. It was such a smooth process, I couldn't recommend this team enough!

This place is a complete disaster. I've been trying for months to get basic prescriptions fill and they continue to reject everything and run me in circles even after I paid hundreds of dollars to have my dog seen. They've changed their process and now reject all online orders that customers place and they don't seem to be able to even fill prescriptions through their own new process. Even now they have not resolved this. I am done.
