classes are fun. good energy. friendly staff. however, it is merely impossible to cancel membership status. I am 3-4 phone messages, an email, spoken to Miranda (waiting on an email for 2 weeks now to cancel) and still haven't been able to cancel. very frustrating!

I love AKT! If you're looking for fun group workouts, this is the place. The trainers are friendly and full of energy. I look forward to the classes. My fitness level has definitely improved since I started four months ago.

Great place for a fun, low impact workout. As a chiropractor, I refer my patients here as it is a great workout, but not rough on the body. Their manager Miranda does a great job! Highly recommend!

Classes are wayyyyy too loud, even with ear plugs. Also the studio room is very echo-y- coupled with the extremely loud music and instructors shouting into microphones it's impossible to hear instructions and you leave with a migraine and ringing ears

I never thought I was going to be excited to workout everyday, but AKT made it happen! Truly not your typical gym.The energy of the trainers is amazing. The place is not just beautiful, but always clean (this is a MUST for me even before COVID).You feel welcomed from the second you step in, and motivated all the way thru your class. The music is amazing and the environment super positive.One year after I joined AKT and I still think it was the best decision ever!

Like many of us, I had been suffering from too many days slumped in front of my computer. And made a commitment to get moving more. I prefer group classes, but with covid I was hesitant. The new year discount and offer to check out a free 1st class got me in the door of AKT. The trainers & staff are all friendly and welcoming to all levels. They share ways to modify for those of us who need a little lighter moves, or those who need more challenge. The place is always spotless. And they take covid precautions. I decided to take the plunge and join. Bringing my partner along with me!

If I could give more stars I would. I LOVE LOVE LOVE AKT!!! I have tried many fitness places, and have always found myself getting bored after awhile. Not true at AKT. The content changes every 3 weeks, so I find myself being continually challenged. I used to dread going to workout, but now I find myself looking forward to it. Before I found myself working out 3 to 4 times a week. Now, I am motivated to go 7 days a week and am bummed when I can't make a class. I have also met some wonderful women there as well. The staff and trainers are truly AMAZING. I have been looking forever for a fitness studio that combined strength and core training with dance. It is so fun! The hour passes so quickly. They offer four types of classes: Dance, Bands, Toning and Circuit. Thank you AKT for coming to Powell!

AKT Powell. I became a member the second after the first class I took! The atmosphere is energetic, positive, and full of beautiful smiles! This studio is gorgeous and extremely clean. Jenny, one of their trainers is extraordinary with her skills of coaching, helping you with proper form, and giving you the best work out! Yes, she will show you that when you think you can't, oh darling, YES YOU CAN! I would recommend AKT to anyone that has a weight goal, embarking on a life changing journey, gain muscle... AKT changed my life! I hadn't worked out for over 10 years since having my kids. I started AKT powell in Jan this year and I love it so much! I always wanted to be one of those people who was addicted to working out and I thought it would never happen. But I look forward to working out every day now. They are upbeat, encouraging, and fun - the App is so easy to use and schedule work-outs. The work outs are challenging and also keep you thinking so you don't get bored. I can't give AKT powell enough stars!!!!!

Since separating from Active Duty, I have struggled to find my way, as many Veterans do. Searching for some sense of camaraderie and a way to remain active, I found my way into a dance fitness studio... then added strength training and boxing, followed by various other fitness formats. Fitness became an outlet for my physical, mental, and emotional health. The people I've met throughout my fitness journey have become a "family" of sorts.AKT has recently become a HUGE part of that. I began taking classes at AKT to help and support one of my very best friends. Little did I know that these classes would challenge (and change) me almost immediately. Before my first class, I was convinced I couldn't do it... I laughed and scoffed at the prospect of burpees on a medicine ball. But I didn't start there... I've worked my way up to it.The support and encouragement I receive from the trainers is unmatched. My favorite trainer, Jenny is incredible!! Her energy and genuine love for what she does shines through in every conversation, in every movement, in each bit of instruction... She's the kind of person who truly cares about you, while also making you feel like you can do ANYTHING!!We've been told that the workouts won't get easier, but that we will get stronger. From day to day, week after week, I see my body transforming and my confidence growing. I'm able to push harder, lift more, jump higher... My strength and stamina improve with each class, thanks (in part) to the structure and design of AKT's Signature Formats, but I must acknowledge that having some of the best trainers cheering me on makes me want more. Everyone should be so fortunate as to have Jenny (and AKT) in their lives... What are you waiting for???
