Tried to buy an item that was on sale. It wasn't in stock so they ordered it through the store, where we paid cash upfront. Told it would be in in a few days. A few days later, checked, and it wasn't in. Checked the following week - not in. Checked the following week - not in. Checked the following week - not in. Finally, after saying we wanted our money back, the clerk said they'd order one in overnight. Go to pick it up the next day and was told to pay for it again because they had to cancel the original order to be able to order it overnight, but that they'd issue a gift card for store credit in the amount they wanted us to pay twice. This is entirely unacceptable! This is why people order stuff from Amazon - the incompetence of this store is unbelievable and their idiotic policies are ridiculous. So, as I'm writing this review the item is still at the store, waiting for them to figure out how to run a business in a proper manner. Who knows when we'll ever actually get this item. At this point, I know exactly where they can put it! West Marine - do not ever order anything from this store! If they don't have it in stock, order it from Amazon!

We were just shopping tourists not boaters. We found a few shirts and such. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I entered this location excited to purchase a couple deck chairs and a Yeti cooler..... I left empty handed because the lady didn't seem interested to help me. I asked several times for pricing info and isle location .... she was too involved with looking through a catalog. There were no other customers at the time. She refused to help me.... I refused to leave her with a $1000 purchase. Maybe another day. Very rude.

Very helpful! Even helped me with providing a few empty boxes I needed to shut down our place for the season. Between antifreeze, boxes and being handicapped, they even helped me to my car. Great place!!!!

I bought a tube of West Marine brand Marine Silicone sealant to caulk a window and it was so stiff I had to use two hands to get it out of the tube.

Sometimes I'm here 3 times a day, helpful staff. Friendly & helpful staff. It can be dead there or a zoo, be patient, there's some knowledgeable employess there.

The gentleman that assisted me was knowledgeable and very friendly They did not have the Control cable I needed he told me to try napa which sells marine parts also i thanked him and continued looking at other items about 5 mins later he came and found me and told he had a match just longer would that work I said absolutely so with that being said I give them many thanks he could have just left it at we don't have 1

If you need a life jacket, flares or other general item go into the store. If you are fixing your boat, check online for stock and pricing. More than likely you'll need to order it antsy, so find your best deal.Port Clinton shop doesn't even have charts for the area.

Located just off rt. 2 at the rt. 53 exit for Catawba Island. You must wear a mask to enter.A large selection of boater needs is available. Electronics, boat hardware, paint, sailing equipment, and a small selection of outboard motors can be found here. Some fishing equipment is also available.

I wouldn't even give this store 1 star. Harrassed by management about my mask not covering my nose. I am a disabled combat veteran and according to HIPAA laws they had no place to ask me to adjust my mask . Hopefully someone calls this in and they receive a fine. I obviously left and told them that that's against the law . The store however is pretty bare and most items are over priced . I would recommend you avoid this store especially the way they treat veterans.

When into this store to purchase a radio and antenna from my boat my wife has asthma store employees Folder that she had to put her face mask all the way over her nose she has asthma and we pretty much had to explain to them that she can't breathe what that on still would not make a sale to us I don't recommend this place at all they violated the hepa rights.
