I’ve never left a review before.. however this rite aid is the worst pharmacy I have ever walked into. The one specific pharmacist (woman) is rude every single time, don’t bother asking her a question about your prescription, it won’t be answered. I called about picking up my prescription on easter (to ensure they were open and it was an ok time) the guy says to come any time. Great. I get there at 1:31 and he is still there working yet denies me my prescription since he is “on lunch”. I now have to go out of town and won’t have my prescription. Not to mention they charge me for meds that CVS never has. Do not use this rite aid, drive the extra 20min to CVS.

Came in to pick up a prescription, and the lady ( blond hair, middle aged) that checked me out at the pharmacy was extremely rude and should not be helping customers. Rolled her eyes and acted like I wasting her time as I tried to tell her the prescription was for my dog not a person of my family. Manager needs to get better customer service personnel if you want me to be a customer at your store !!!!!

I thought maybe they were just having a bad day, but I went and saw a similar reviews from very recently. The woman running the front of the pharmacy is kind of rude and short at the very best. I asked a question and I seemed that I was inconveniencing her. I run a roofing company, and if a customer asked me questions I don't assume they know anything. I'll politely walk them through anything.

Seems the pharmacy front desk staff are unfriendly and at times just rude and curt. They rarely smile or thank you

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Adam who I spoke with on the phone today. He not only addressed my questions with sincere concern and good humor but also took the time to call me back and give me the most up-to-date information concerning my inquiry. Thanks Adam - you are the epitome of customer service!!

To the extremely unhelpful people at your location in Port Clinton. If I could post a picture, I would. Your site shows the formula my granddaughter needs in stock. I drove fan hour and a half to get there to find none and was basically blown off-no compassion at all. There is a baby formula shortage, your inventory online should be up to date and your employees need some customer service training!

I went to the pharmacy the other day to get a prescription filled. While I was standing outside waiting for them to fill it a young man come walking by. He looked up at me nodded his head and said hi. I nodded back and said “Hey, how's it going”. He said “I would be lying to you if I told you good, I have to go in here and get my Suboxone and the minute you say that everybody looks at you like you're scum of the Earth”. Now he didn't look scary or strung out like the addicts they show on TV but he did look defeated. A few minutes later I went back in and sat down in a chair and was waiting when I heard him talking to the pharmacist. He said “I'm trying to get my life straightened out. I've made a few bad decisions but I'm trying”. The pharmacist is being very professional he never took his eyes off the computer while he was asking questions not once did he change facial expressions or tone of voice but I noticed other people looking at him as if he was a leper. He said again “I'm really not a bad person I just made some mistakes”. Then to my surprise he looked down at his feet and in a half mumble said “My Momma loves me”. At that moment I didn't see a struggling addict I saw a child that was hurt and scared and felt all alone. A child reaching his arms out for someone to pick him up and make it all better. That image was so clear In my mind that it broke my heart.
The pharmacist told him what the cost was and another disappointed look came over the young man's face. Again I saw a child that just found out he had been left behind. He said “I'm sorry I thought it would only be five or six dollars I don't have that much”. I stepped up behind him and said “I’ll cover the rest of it”. He turned around with a shocked look on his face and I repeated “I'll cover the rest” he said “No man you don't have to do that”. I looked at the pharmacist and said I'll cover the rest of it. The young man looked at me but had no words I said “You don't have to say anything just take care of yourself”. I placed the money in his hand and walked back over and sat down. It didn't take long for somebody to make their way over to me and say "You shouldn't give them money you better go get it back." I replied “That's between me and him and what he does with it is between him and God”.
I didn't tell you this because I done something special the money wasn't that much. I'm telling you this because for the first time I realized how judgmental we all are. All of us live in a neighborhood full of drug addicts. But for the first time I realized that they're a victim of a bad decision. How many of us have made bad decisions. How many of us thought that we could make that big car payment, we could afford that big beautiful house, that we could gamble just this once. How many people thought they could watch a little porn. These too are all bad decisions and they can have devastating effects on our lives and the lives of those close to you. Do I look at all these people the same way I do an addict. Here lately I've seen a lot of that little kid in all the faces I see. What a wake up call.
If someone is trying to do better, if they're doing the right things we need to build them up not tear them down. NONE of us have clean hands when it comes to making bad choices, some choices are just more complex than others....
as someone who works in the addiction feels I was appalled to see the way that the pharmacist Rick created a young man in line just disgusting

I have been using rite aid for using rite aid for years! I love them especially Ian. I walked in there on New Years with a script for my daughter right as they were closing Ian the pharmacist looked at it and told me not to go anywhere he had them filled in 5 minutes! Thanks to Ian and his amazing staff my daughter was able to have her medications that night and start feeling a little better the next day!

Rude staff answering the phone. Doesn’t really care about the people that frequent the store. One pharmacist is great the other is just adequate

Can’t even bother to change their answering machine and tell you they changed store hours. Pulled up during opening with several other confused patrons to locked doors. Nice. This isn’t the first disappointment from this location. Somehow the scripts I enter over their phone service get lost or no request to fill them. I’ve never ever had them successfully contact a doctor, they just say they will. My doctor told me herself she got nothing from them. Why even take the number?? Just seem to always have trouble with this store.
