These guys are the biggest criminal act I've ever dealt with. I had a contract so they say I still thought I was under contract with the gas company that I had before them Dominion even back me up on that . Which I found out is part of this company anyways long story short 10 month contract serve 7 months of it got hit for $200 termination fee I hope they treat their own parents and other relatives that cannot afford to pay that early termination fee. Our lawmakers should do something good with their time instead of squandering money to the Ukraine like make up a law that they can't charge customers early termination fees. Because they are just shopping for better deals better prices don't you think?

We have had a few issues with our natural gas and they have always responded promptly and taken care of the problem. They are respectful, friendly, and helpful. Everyone we have dealt with has been great!

Northeast gas company is the absolute worst!! Their customer service reps are the rudest, unhelpful, nasty and unprofessional group of women I’ve ever had the unpleasure to have to deal with!! They will hang up on you. I’ve worked customer service and you DO NOT EVER hang up on customers. They will not listen to you, all they say is” not our problem “ over and over then hang up on you. This company is a complete joke. I hadn’t received a bill for a while so I kept waiting finally, not wanting to deal with them, but I called. They thought I was turned off for months, but was not, so guess what they send me? A huge bill!! As a single mom that was a hurter. And now this was my last straw. I moved from my rental. My oldest son moved in. Tried to get the gas in his name and they wouldn’t do it. I called told them to forward my last bill. They will not do it. So these, I’ll leave blank what I really want to say, people want to turn the gas off until they get a paper saying he lives there, hmmm I didnt have to do that when I moved in. And yes! He now lives there, a new customer. So I called to pay and see why they won’t transfer to “a new resident” that’s when the rep got nasty, the land lord was on vacation for 2 weeks so he could not get the paperwork they all of sudden needed. And she just kept telling me it’s not their problem and hung up on me. I call back and the next rep was nasty as well. And I was very calm. Northeastern Gas Co you really need to get your act together. Starting by retraining your customer service representatives to do their job professionally and correctly. Never have I dealt with a company like this and hopefully never will again. So if you can avoid this company please, I urge you to do so!!!

I have had service with the company for over a year now and have had no problems. Customer service is so easy to deal with.

We practically use no gas during summer time and still they charge $20 service fee for nothing. I would not recommend this gas company to anyone.

Northeast Ohio Natural Gas is extremely monarchical in their approach to customer service. We sold our house and purchased another, both within the Northeast service area. I was told that “you need to contact your realtor to tell the buyers of your home to change the service into their name” before we would be able to add service at the new address. This was even after we closed…I NO LONGER OWN this house! I have no control over the buyers and when they might call to switch service. I only know that need service transferred to my new address. Strangely enough, South Central Power had no problem transferring service. Northeast is uncooperative and inept! Don’t give me orders…just provide quality customer service for a change!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. They shut off gas to our business during a service call as we needed to remove a meter. We removed the meter as instructed and called them back exactly one hour later. THREE DAYS have passed as we still have no gas to our facility which is negatively affecting our operation. A call with a terribly rude customer service person said they are prioritizing non-payment shut offs before they can get back to us. We are a paying customer!

If I could leave a zero star I would. Today my gas is shut off and I was informed that someone changed my mailing address. I am the only contact on the account and I did NOT change my address. So I have not received a shut off notice nor a bill, and I forgot about it / thought we were current enough. Customer service is horrible and incompetent.

Been trying for days to get in contact with someone for new construction service. Multiple calls put you directly in a hold que for as long as 50 minutes at one point and couldn't hold any longer. No email option and no one is able to get into the building due to covid restrictions. Does anyone know how to get in touch with anyone at this company?

Zero stars if possible. The customer service and communication with this company is atrocious. Linda Richards should be fired for her derogatory tone and lack of accommodation when speaking with clients. I have never had such issues or terrible service with a gas company.

They make paying difficult... every month it takes multiple attempts before the website/phone system will work to pay our bill.
