I really like this thrift store but recently everything’s gone so expensive mind you they get everything for free. It’s very frustrating that everywhere you go and every thrift shop that you shop at their prices are through the roof. They’ve gone up about 2 to 3 dollarsor more . They say that they do missionary work, but respectfully, we’re not all following the same faith and we’re all struggling. And with all due respect, I literally called this thievery in the name of God
think about people here
We are struggling

The last time I was in I purchased a piece of furniture. You remove the tag from it and pay at the cashier.
After completing my transaction I went to pick up my furniture and carry it outside and some lady started yelling at me that it was hers and she already had a tag for it. Obviously this wasn’t possible since I had pulled the tag when I first came in the store and had my receipt in my hand showing it was paid for.
She had one of the employees with her and it seems like the employee was giving her permission to buy the item and was going to give her another tag. Why would you do this when the employees are the ones that have the system in place to take the tag off in the first place? Obviously if it doesn’t have a tag it’s because someone else is purchasing it. They could also avoid this by putting the two tags, with the bottom one saying SOLD.
Neither the employee nor the lady screeching at me offered any kind of explanation or apology.
I have been a longtime loyal customer but I won’t shop anywhere that allows me to be mistreated in their store. I shouldn’t be accosted and made to feel uncomfortable for taking the items I bought and paid for.

Really sad experience today here. Prices are going up here.
But why?
1. Everyone(or most) that helps here is a FREE NON PAID volunteer.
2. Everything this thrift shop sales is donated FREE that is then sold for 100% profit.
3. I would go on an assumption here to say I bet they are a tax expempt organization.
So why are prices going up? Are we now followers of the world?? Church?
Every single penny, evey single dollar is 100% profit. Why do I ask then is a place that claims God, getting greedy? Is this place hurting in any way? I do not think so. I think business is making better revenue than ever in profits. So why? Other than greed? Or bc "other stores are doing it"?? Does that make it okay?
This is how many of us struggling single moms and struggling family have done for our families for a long time. Clothes. Gifts (even if used for birthdays, Christmas etc.)
Did you not think about "these" people? The poorest or even low middle class families that do not get any help but can at least afored to get clothes, toys, house hold needs at a thrift store for their kids/ homes/ families?
Do you not care? It matters. Sometimes it a choice between food, electric bill or good shoes for our children.
If you want to be greedy, separate yourself from God and then be like "everyone else".

Great store to shop. Nice quality well organized merchandise and the cashiers and stock people are very pleasant. However, the people working the donation intake bark orders instead of guiding you where and how to leave your items. They never say thank you even with a car load of donations. My donations will go elsewhere from now on.

One of my favorite thrift stores. I drive over an hour to visit as often as possible and I always find at least a few things to take home with me. I usually donate some of my own household items during each visit as well. I love their selection of Christmas items around the holidays! I also love that they test everything and label items to let you know that it works or if it's missing pieces.

Great thrift store. Lots of clothes. Very organized. Does not have much furniture or movies. Has a medium collection of books. Lots of linens, dishware, shoes, toys. Usually has craft materials and office supplies. They keep the store very organized and picked up. It does not get messy.
